I thought overgrow had great info regarding each particular strain's effects.

Luckily, I collected info on well over 20 strains I thought were awesome.

Too bad for all of those who were not quick enough on the draw to make use of overgrows strainguide.

There still maybe other grow forums out there that go into great detail about what to expect from each strain:thumbsup:

that straight up was my favorite website. Its kinda weird though cause on overgrow I barely saw some of the same people twice. It was a weed megasite.

Man, Overgrow was truly a font of marijuana expertise the likes of which had never before been seen, and (sadly) may not be seen for a while. Its best feature was certainly the strain guide, and the quantities of beautiful weed shown on that site was also a perk.

It did, however, have sort of an elitist connossieur mentality that could be frustrating at times-- apparently, if you don't own a RooR, you're scum--but in all, it was a great site, and I miss it dearly.

Man, between the StrainGuide, FAQ and the sheer quantity of journals, it was the place to get everything you needed.

Cannibis.com has a more mature membership. Well, in the grow forums anyway. Most of the kids hang out in the Lounge, Recreational and Experiences forum, which is fine by me.

The mods and admins here are top notch.

One person cannot match the information that was overgrow.com

Overgrow was a holy site and I was actually depressed when it got shut down. Gave me hope that someday weed might be legal.


the name OG suited that site even if it wasnt called OverGrow, it was a holy grail. If it comes back you know where I will be :)

PS: IF anyone wants a site similar to overgrow check out www.icmag.com Id regsiter but last time I did it said they werent accepting registrations due to the overflow of people from overgrow. They even have a forum called "Overgrow refugees" lol

Has anyone had success registering with ICMag lately? I've been submitting registration requests to them for 2 months now, and they keep saying, "You will be notified via email when your account is approved". And that's even after I activate the account from the confirmation email.

I never visited there (don't grow), but I feel ya. We all get homesick when shit like that happens. Hope you eventually grow to miss cannabis.com if god forbid it ever gets shut down.
