no its not old, it goes to a 8 inch lcd screen, it's one of the connectors they make so it can plug into like a million different adapters. i need to know what its called so i can get a "____ to RCA" adapter the ____ being this plugs name lol

i dont have any better pictures.. did you click on it? it gets bigger

it looks like it might be an s-video connector, but you could take the pic into radio shack or something and find a matching cable

My first guess was similar to Del's ... thought it was some sort of audio connector ... but from what you described, a quick search on google yields the most likely answer ...

it almost looks like a ps2 connecter, its the kind of the most mouses and keyboards used before they switched to USB

I say take the thing into radio shack and find a match. That's what I'd do at least. You never know, you might actually find someone there who knows.

it is din connector used in older computer parts like keyboards or monitor in your case

1. go to radio shack...they have all the adapters, and a clerk to identify them.

2. take a pic so we can see what you are asking about, come on...If you can't see it clearly, we can't see it to identify it.
