Lol...I'm not going to ask what for, but the first thing that popped into my head was "We Built this City." I don't actually know who's its offically by, I just know a lot of popular 80s bands did it.

"We built this city on rock and rolllllllll" lol good tune.

Oh, and "Workin' for the weekend" by Loverboy I believe?

Hmmm......Berlin was pretty cheesey...Lionel Ritchie was extra cheesey...DeBarge....New Kids on the Block maybe the cheesiest of all. I don't know that I can help much with specific song titles, my memory sucks.

Oh, and I think "We Built this City" was Jefferson Starship, the sucky 80's version of Jefferson Airplane.

"Ooh, out of the blue..."

A cool 80's song is "Mr. Roboto".

8675309 sounds like a character out of Ayn Rand's book, "Anthem".

Michael Damian- Rock On
George Harrison-I Got My Mind Set On You
Debbie Gibson
Tiffany
The Top Gun Soundtrack
Eddie Money
Flock Of Seagulls-I Ran (OMFG, that was SUCH a cheesy song)
Night Ranger- this is more of a hair band that white trash liked, but was a total stereotype of '80's hair bands, so I think this would count as "cheesy"
Bon Jovi
Whitesnake
Red Ryder- Lunatic Fringe
Foreigner
REO Speedwagon
Journey

I can't think of any more, but there are *tons* more out there

Radio Caca
04-26-2006, 02:02 AM
Joy Division, Joy Division, Joy Division. I guess technically they "ended" in 1980 and where around in the late 70's but I consider them 80's cause they got the whole new wave and post punk scene going...

Tears for Fears - ANYTHING
Corey Hart - Sunglasses At Night
Hall and Oates - Out of Touch
Cutting Crew - (I Just) Died In Your Arms
Mister Mister - Broken Wings
Annie Lenox - Sweet Dreams
Night Ranger - Sister Christian

Good Stuff
