What should I do??????HELP

well the situation is pretty much my brother has been growing this plant for quite some time now. He's been growing it under halogen lights which isn't good , but the plant looked very healthy and good. but lately he hasn't had the time to care for it and hasn't been putting it under the light in a while but has been setting it near the window when the suns out just to give it light. So me and my friend took it and said we'd try and save it..we are about ready to order our 400w hps grow light with a mh conversion bulb, but until that gets here its under halogen bulbs. Ill try and get a picture posted by tomorrow, so you can see how it looks.. what can we do to save it???

i would get rid of the halogen light and get some cfls in there untill the hps turns up halogen lights are bad and give off to much heat too

The first thing you need to know about is PLANT life cycle..
18+ hours of light is VEGGING STAGE
12 hours light/12 hours dark is budding stage

Only the female plants give buds...

Do you know about all this stuff yet?

It is all very basic stuff. but if you do not understand these basic rules and a couple more.. You are going to spend a lot of time and money without success..

yea..we know its not a hermie, this is a LADY.. white hairs are showing..its about 2 1/2 feet tall and we are gonna try and finish this one and after this we will have our 400w hps/mh and we are growing some seeds my buddy got in Jamaica on spring break..

Ok, its gunner be a good start, at least you will have been able to keep a plant alive, but seriously dont expect any actual yeild from halogens. They have completely the wrong spectrum, but like i said, it'll be a good start, so you can grow a plant and know what to look for and everything.

Make sure you read the grow faqs cos u really have gotta know exactly what to do, otherwise it'll be a waste of time...

When you get the MH/HPS thats when the real learning will come in. Eventually you'll be able to grow the nicest plants you can :)

weeds can grow anywhere go look outside their is weeds everywhere no one takes care of them but they still grow idiot

was up Blue if it were me i would get some cfls and use that plant as a mother to get clones from and get thet hps/mh light and start growing new plants under proper lights thats probably how you will get the most out of it

FIRST UP take it easy on my good m8 lip he knows what he is on about and his advice has helped me out a few times so dont come on here knocking people like that
SECONDLY if you wanna go smoke some of the weeds from ya garden go ahead
yeah it might not die but if its isent looked after and grown with the right tools this is what you will be smoking a shitty weed that will do nothing just like that shit that keeps popping up in ya yard
and 3RD think about what you are saying befour ya open ya mouth the weed we grow to smoke is totally difrent to that shit in ya yard
even someone with atleast an ounce of common sence would of known that
