could someone check this photo and tell me whats wrong? i checked the soil with a cheap test kit. the results were very high p and k but very low n. the ph was nuteral. i was using advance nutes. heavy harvest fall. i guess i may have put too much down, as i usually use water soluable ferts, but where did all the n go? it's suposed to be 10-20-20. i put some blood meal duwn to give them some n but some of the other plants seen good besides a little yellowing of some lower leaves(classic sighn of n diff.). thanks for any help.

that looks to me like a magnesium deficiency. did it start on the lower part of the plant? are the growing shoots a very light green or almost white? if it is a MG deficiency you can try epson salts at a rate of 1 tablespoon per gallon of water, a faster way is to use a foliar spray but since you are into flowering now i would discourage that type of application. a low N reading is what you want at this stage of flowering, i would also discourage raising your N level.

every plant i have now are losing leaves as they ripen...nothing to do with N deficiency. it's normal...
and when you tested your soil hopefully you took samples from all over and at different depths...otherwise your test is only good for that one spot you chose.
that leaf curl could very well be a sign of too much water...at this time watering should be cut in half, at least. i also wouldn't put any more additives around them...looks like they've got plenty to see em thru to the end.

thankyou, i took a small sample from the top about 4" deep. it was a slice so it would test all depths. i'll check with the water and then maybe the mg.
