Quick, try getting rooting gel and treat it like a clone, it might live, although it might be too late now!

Yeah,,,what LIP said. I would try the rooting gel as soon as possible. Other than that,,I would begin preparing the eulogy. R.I.P.

i'd start over. the broken stem isn't the only problem. the plant is very stretched anyway. start over and try keeping the light closer to the plant. good luck and be careful! if you take extreme caution when caring for plants you should avoid breaking them in the future.

uumm i don't know much but i'm guessing if you gave it the proper care and tended to it quickly then you could save it

if it is stretched ya can support it with lil kebab sticks that should do a good enuff job keeping it upright :)

come on people, show me some faith. its NOT stretched, no roots equals no growth. the root plug is only 2" the entire plant is only 5" out of the plug. the point is.... will it graft back on to its own stem.

the tape is NOT STUCK to the plant. it is double stuck so smoooooothe on both sides. its just support on the stem with a splint inside. as a matter of fact, the last time i tried this fix with one not broke quite all the way through, it sprouted mass roots inside the taped area.

It will LIVE, join the right side of the equation and vote LIVE now!

it could live if cared for properly but is it worth the effort? the time it takes to recuperate would probably be a while and starting a new plant wouldn't take much longer and it wouldn't have gone through all that stress. and we all know stressed plants are much more likely to hermie in flower. why take chances? i say try to save it but start a new plant just in case.

 It died. But the good news is.. while rereading this thread, I was reminded about the success I had with mass roots forming from a clone, I mean totally clustered when wrapped by double smooth duct tape. More experiments to come.

 It died.

R.I.P.:( Let me start of by saying a few words about
this little plant. It was good hearted and was always
there to lend a helping hand or words of encouragement
it will be greatly missed, this is a sad sad day for us all.
