Smoking with a magnifying glass

I recently bought a 2x magnifying glass with a small 4x lense in the corner from a photography store. I have been smoking alot of bowls with it laitly and it seems i get alot more hits from a bowl and each one is extreemly powerful. As a spiritual person i believe this is a perfect way to naturaly enjoy to beautiful things he has givien us. I was wondering if anyone elce has had many good experiances using a magnifying glass and if not you should run out and try it!

how do you smoke with a magnifying glass like you hold it over the bowl to keep it from going out??

Solar bowls are rediculously sweeeet! Probably the best way to smoke. I've only done them a few times but plan on doing them a lot when the weather gets a little better. Its hard for me to find a nice spot that isnt too open to other people seeing but still getting good sun light.

You hold a lens in between your bowl and the sun. Its kinda like little kids burning ants on the side walk with a magnifying glass. Same idea.

so how is it better? is the thc more concentrated that way?

I think its better because an open flame from your lighter causes some of the thc to combust and be lost in the process and using a magnifing glass has alot lower temps and there is no flame just heat. Every hit seems so much stronger and a bowl usually takes me twice as long to smoke just because of the strength of every hit.

This seems like a cool idea, I bet it tastes really good but, Wouldnt it be hard to light the bowl?

No actually its not hard to light at all, once you get the light focused it starts to burn immeditly

gonna do this on my roof in the summer, gets incredibly hot up there, shouldn't have a problem igniting the bowl lol

nope it gets extreemly hot instantly when you focus the light

When i go backpacking in California's Sierra Nevada i take my swiss army knife. I use the magnifying glass for my hash, pot, and to start my campfire with. I had a nice crystal that i used but i lost it in Kings Canyon. fuck.

I am going to get a magnifying glass and DEFINETLY try this. Thanks for reminding me, an ex- friend told me about that and we were gonna take bong rips on my lunch break one day, but we got stoned or something and forgot to actually do it. I heard its so fucking dope..it like sizzles, and burns the weed soooooo good and you get a mother fucking bad ass rip , much cleaner than the BIC lighter gas fluid...hell yeah..I want do use a magnifying glass..its sunnier than hell lately...Great idea yo!
