carbon filter setup "PLEASE"

Thanks for taking the time to look. This is my first time growing an im having trouble working out how my systemair fan connects to the carbon filter .
And do i have the carbon filter inside or outside the tent ? at the moment i have it inside connected to the fan and blowing air out through the duckting outside the tent. So basicly i got my fan sucking the air in the tent through the filter and blowing outside the tent .But im sure im wrong "PLEASE HELP"

No that's right, you have the carbon filter inside, it has holes in it so the air goes in there, the filter should be at the top of your grow space, so yeah you suck air though the filter into ducting out of your closet.

Also if you have a problem with noise. Not sure of your make of fan. But the vibration can be solved, the majority of the noise is the actual air flow so get some kind of insulated ducting, bit more expensive than standard. If you can suspend the filter and fan in such a way it lessens the noise. Using bungee hooks or something similar. You can muffle the noise considerably. If worse comes to worse you could attach a silencer on the end of the fan. See how it goes.
