I ordered from seedboutique.com about 3 weeks ago. the seed package came yesterday the side was slit open and than stapled shut. the package was empty, nothing else came with it :mad: Just letting everyone know, becareful and think twice before spending your hard earned cash.

Weird. NEVER had that problem. It's actually illegal for customs to open that sort of mail, it's considered first class. Seedboutique is very very reliable. In my experience, 3-5 days delivery across a major ocean when you pay for the cheapest shipping option.

What was the label attached to the package...what did it say.

IF the post office finds a package that is opened they close it attach the apropriate form and send it through the system.

If customs finds a package and removes the contents they attach a confescation form to the package and send it through the system.

Mountain - If customs feels that the contents of a package are illeagal they actually do have the right to open it....shitty but the way it is.

Like I said though the package will have some form on it as to say exactly who took the contents, or that the package was found ripped open and then closed by a postal employee.

I second that seedboutique is certainly reliable. I have well over 50+ orders through Gypsy (the owner).

Ill try to upload a pic later, but the customs sticker on the front had the package labeled as a gift and the weight, the package had bubble wrap lined on the inside. Im pretty sure that it made it through customs ok, but after that Im not sure who opened it. It also said the package was inspected by customs on 4/5. and i ordered it on the 1st.

Im sorry I never introduced myself, Im a beginner (somewhat) Ive had two successful small harvests outdoors last year and the year before. Ive spent about two months getting my grow room ready. I have more than enough space 20' by 10' room. a 1000w hd. strophoam walls w/ mylar,exhaust fan,watering hose hooked up indoors, containers, soil, nutrients and all the gadgets. All im waiting for is the seeds. I was an idiot and ordered from bcbuddepot about a month and a half ago. (big mistake i know) and decided to order from seedboutiqe, which i am still satisfied because i know that they actually tryed to send the seeds.

Pete - Tough break man. I agree with you on it getting through customs. They would have included a card inside the package (I believe it's green) that states what custom official took your contents, and why they took it.

I am betting that one of the sorting machines cought a corner and ripped it open durring the transit process.

I hope that you have a bit better luck. No one likes being let down. I would suggest trying the boutique again, but if you are not comfortable with that then I also know Drchronic.com to be a very reliable source for seed purchase.

Being very loyal to seedboutique, I just wanna say that this incident is isolated. These things happen once in a while. No one should be afraid to use them at this point. But Dr. Chronic is always a good option too.

it could of just been a dodgy postman
we have them here in uk sometimes they skank ya mail if they think there is out worth something init thats lil thiefs for ya
