Okay so I live on the bottom apartment in my block.. Theres a garden right outside my lounge thats covered in that kidna gravel stuff...


i just tok a few hits on this bong i just made and im pretty fucked.. i was sittin here enjoyin it, readin through a few posts, when i realised my balcony door was open.. then i hear footsteps walkin around in the gravel outside my balcony! its like 4am and no ones is outside at 4am where i live.. and the only reaoson anyeone would ever go on that gravel is to get onto my balcony, i have to do it sometiems when im locked out or lost my key... i went into the kitchen to get a better look, if someones outside i didnt wanna stick my head out the balcony door coz im too paranoid.. so anyway, i looked out the kitchen window and sure enough, some big dude dressed in black is creeping around outside the front of my balcony, tryin to look through my windows... either im hallucinating, or somones tryin tio get into my house for some reason, at 4am on a tuesday night.. im crappin myself, and coz my moms out for the night its just me in the house, wtf am i supoposed to do? :S

ok so i thought fuck it, went outside, took ma nephews baseball bat out and a flick knife in ma pocket just incase, but when i went out there was no one there.. i walked around a bit and came back without findin anyone, then i realised that when i went walkin round i had left my front door open.. then i wasnt sure if i had left it open or if someone had opened it.. im pretty fgreaked out coz im so high,.. no ones in the house, ive just checked, but either im imagining it or osmeones trying to get into my house, i keep hearing strange noises from different parts of the house, noises i dont usually hear... if u guys dont hear from me for a while u know wots happened LOL :P

Dude I'm like spastic and paranoid as a bitch *ESPECIALLY WHEN BAKED*. I remember one time when my friend came up from behind and I didnt here him and pushed me like one of those get your attention pushes and he was going to say "whats up" but as soon as he touched me I whipped around and hit him in the chest and he fell down. I startle so easily and when something scares me I go at it aggresivley. As soon as I saw that dude I would have grabbed the nearist blunt object/stabbing utensil/shooting thing/attack dog and ran out there and beat that motherfucker down. No questions asked. You come creeping around on my property at the wrong time of night and im sorry, you get a beat down, It wouldnt matter if it was a nun looking for a lost child, crack,bam,smack,cry for help,tears,blood,satisfaction...thats how it goes. In my apartment complex I think Im the guy that makes people paranoid. Sometimes I creep outside to my car late at night to smoke, or lurk around the darkness near the stairs. Sometimes when someone calls on the phone and weed is being discussed, I take a walk outside to be alone, but I usually end up behind other peoples buildings.

Once in a lifetime thing: Years ago, I had a graphic arts business, and lived in an apartment on the 2nd floor. I often worked late; 3:00 - 4:00 am. Usually had the lights out, except for my studio. One night I heard a noise in the parking lot, and looked out, just out of curiosity. A guy was going from car to car, checking the doors. I was in a darkened room, windows opened (summer). On an impulse I took an automatic I kept in my desk drawer, snapped back the slide as loudly as I could, and for the first and only time in my life, actually yelled "FREEZE"! And that's just what he did. Then I couldn't think of what I should do next. I'm safe and sound in this upper floor window, and hadn't even bothered to put the clip in the gun. I wasn't going to go down there, worst case scenario would be I'd actually have to shoot the guy if he came at me. I had some cuffs; probably couldn't have located them if my life depended on it. The poor slob stood there for about 4 or 5 minutes with his hands in the air. Range was about 20 feet, I think he could tell how close I was from the sounds I'd made, and probably figured I could pick him off easily. After a few minutes of embarassing silence, he finally took off for the nearest shadows. I always laugh when I think about this one, and would like to meet up with the clown some day to find out what was going through his mind when he finally got up the guts to run for it. If he pissed his pants, he probably wouldn't admit it, though.

By the way The Rape of the A*P*E* is pretty good so far, I've read about half. Sherman's remarkably sharp; deceptively simple until you start thinking through what he's saying. I really appreciate your recommending the book.
