I ordered a 150 watt hps floralux light system used off some guy on ebay and payed using paypal. Well ten minutes later I read the artice about paypal being narks to the police. Am I gonna get raided or something? Is it really that tight of security? I didn't think it would be that big of a deal seeing that he was a personal seller. I'm kind of freakin out. Should I be worried?

relax, i've ordered all kinds of stuff for growing off ebay. thousand watt lights by the dozens, and have never had a problem. if you can, try not to ship to where you are growing. but really, its not a big deal to order one light. leo has much better things to do then to try to track down every person in the country that has bought a grow light. meth is a much bigger problem then herb.

oh, one more thing. if you want in the future, pm the person with the item for sale and make them an offer. alot of people will sell this way, thus taking ebay and paypal directly out of the loop. the other nice thing, is this way your id is never posted for feedback.

150 watt HPS. What are you going to do with that ? Shine it in some ones face. LOL. You can go to homedepot and get a 250 HPS. Many other stores carry many more lights. Don't worry !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like Red says they are looking for stuff like making drugs OR I hack satalites TV. If you buy that kind of stuff they think you must be quilty. They give your name to the sat people and sometimes the feds. They suck but nothing can be done. I was going to my state supreme court for hacking direct TV, just because what I bought might be used for illeagle hacking. (MIGHT). Anyway my state told them to quit wasting the courts time with lack of evidence. Just because it might be used wrong, They have to prove you did something wrong with it.. Again, DON'T PANIC. I can buy a car to run someones ass over and that's use of a deadly weapon. What you need to do is sit back and have a good laugh.

If you have an option of buying your supplies locally and in cash, I suggest doing it. That way there is no doubt that no paper trail exists.
Even if the feds or whoever choose not to bust you, you can rest assured that someone is still noting your purchases.
That's why the idea of a cashless society seems so 1984 to me.

Nice book:thumbsup:
It's a book that was instrumental in shaping my current political views.
Another good one is Animal Farm. I read it once and I can never bring myself to reading it again. It was quite upsetting. I think everyone should have to read it at least once.

Animal Farm: Wow, interesting. I've got a friend that read it, and told me quite some about it... just from his stories, I don't think I'm going to read it anytime soon. I will read it... but it isn't in my Top10 list.
As to 1984... man, this society is moving slowly to that... There's a bill that's on the works, that could fuck-up the internet. Check out www.SaveTheInternet.com to see more. :(
But don't worry dude, we'll win in the end... we always do.

You gotta read Animal Farm. It's a short book and is a quick read. You just have to read it once. It's crazy.
