Sick setup. I've got a Lib-tec because I kept on breaking boards going off of stair sets. I have this problem on big drops of not sticking the bolts and my back foot will break off the tail. I love sk8ting and with carpal tunnel I just now figured out I have from my doc, it's something I can still do. I'm getting ready to sk8 now. peace

Your capitalisation of the "b" reminds me of this one time a kids saw me skating down the road and yelled to me, "Are you into skateboard?! I'm into skateboard!"
I'm riding Krux Downlows too. My full setup consists of these parts:
Krux Downlows Trucks
Tracker Dart Freestyle Trucks
Terry Synnott Flatland Deck with one tail skid
Skateboard Co. deck with a monkey on bottom. I got this deck for free from a friend who never really skated. Another kid who I perceive as a poseur called it a CKY deck but I don't really care.
Bones Red Bearings
Jessup Griptape
Monkey Nuts Hardware
Burley Flatland Inlaid 53 mm Wheels.

I just got into skateboarding two weeks ago after not skating since last September and my skills have deteriorated considerably. I skate primarily flatlandfreestyle, though I plan to get into vert/bowl skating. Last year, I could land double kickflips consistantly, perform railslides with nose shuv-its out, and I could sometimes land hardflips, tre flips, twisted flips, double heelflips, triple kickflips, and a bit more. Right now, the best I can do is double kickflips, fakie tre flips, fakie ollie 360's, and a bit more.

To void lives on, I completely disagree with you: In order to become a good skater, one must get a proffesional setup (one not from wal-mart) as soon as possible.

if your board breaks it's more then likely you got a shitty board
The Best you can get are: FIGHT!, AWS, BirdHouse, ALMOST(It's okay i guess), Habitat.

Other boards like: Element, Blind , Flip Just plan suck and more new people well buy simply because they look good, or not sure what to get so they go to Walmart or something.

This is my frist Fight board though, and i must say probelly the best i ever had!. I am able to get like 4inch More on my Ollie then my past ones.

I quit skating a while ago, but now that the weathers nice I've found myself just going out and riding around and fucking around on curbs and my old rail and stuff.

Still riding Rictas (Tom Penny's I think), Shuvit (size 3.75?) board, KRUX BABY TRUX (only thing ill ever ride), then my 5 year old Swiss Bones (and they still work amazingly).

My shuvit still has like a 4 ply crack in it from one of the last days i was skating my back foot landed a bit too far back kickflipping 10. (i didnt use to be that bad, i just didnt have time once school started up again)

It's almost always because they are manufactured over seas. If you look in catalogs, they usually say if it's imported or not.

I'm riding Black Label on Indys with some fly ass "Satori" wheels I've never heard of but they were the only ones above 50.

A board for me's gotta be a mix between cruising and park, cuz that's about all I do. Skate down the hill that is my town, and hit the sick park at the bottom. Of course, that's after a fat bowl in my own honor.

Oh yeah and Reds. Cost/Quality ratio is a can't beat.

WTF?, that's a SMALL deck, Mine are either 7.5 or 7.75, How do you stand on that?

Nice Trucks that's what i ride as well, Bearings:not a fan of Bones, Ricta Wheels: i too where gonna get them but i ran outta Money.

Yea, it's made with Shitty Woods, that makes the board heavy and break easy.

The one i got 'FIGHT!" is pretty light and really surprise on how much i like it. i find that it chips more easier then other decks i have had, but i don't really care how it looks, just how it rides.

I find that www.BlankDecks.com have some of the best stuff ever there, it's the same as them really expensive name brand just with no Pictures and stuff. Like there decks are pretty much the same quality as a AWS board.

Right now i am just redoing all my old shit, since winter is gone and the nice weather is out, today was the first day i could skateboard all day, I notice i have became very Rusty on all my tricks. but no more then a few days and ill become just as good as i was last year :p .

ya I skate everyday, ecxept I think your wrong about your opinion on decks, almost skateboards break like the fastest cause they are made out of cheap ass chinese wood(Almost is the same brand as World Industries by the way) and I really like elements skates, they are just really flexible which I dont prefer......the best is to just skate powells mini-logos because they are just as strong as all the other companys but cost a hell of alot less. Im rocking a Girl Mike Carrol deck with descructo trucks, Ricta Rune Glifberg Naturals with some reds for speed. I always buy a pack of DOH-DOH bushings with my new trucks too usually the white ones, all in all my setup probably costed like $215 Canadian or something but skating is well worth it too me.

DAMN! hahahahaha I went to Woodword a WHILE ago and my counsoler was the man. he could rip up a bowl like no bodys business (probably both meanings of the word, all i saw him do was carve the shit out of the Rock and the F-Bowl haha, but he had really sweet dreads) and he always had stickers of his new company that a him and two of his friends started named "Satori Wheels" He was the man and Im really happy to see that his wheels are actually getting somewhere (all pun intended).

Hurray for AJ!

I've been skating since I was about 12 years old. Last summer was so awasome for skating, I would go outside at like 12, skate all day, and then come home at like 10. Then this school year started and a bunch of the people I used to skate with moved away and I haven't been on a board since like October...

I'm thinking about starting up again though, cause the weather's been so nice. I'm thinking about getting a Habitat deck (Habitat, AWS, and Foundation are the best), Krux trucks, some Bones Reds bearings, and heading out to philly for a weekend.

EDIT: oh and eS do make some of the best shoes

I used to skateboard back in my teen years. Back then I rode Alein Workshop decks, Gullwing trucks, and Santa Cruz wheels. I still have the Gullwing trucks here too. Total old school trucks and relics.

I would Highly recommend Rock'N Ron's Bearings, they are SO much more smoother and faster.
Heres the cheapest place where i got mine from (SUPER FAST SHIPPING)
If you got the extra Money get the Ceramic Bearings, there's the best so far in the skateing world, but the steels one i consider 2nd best (i even think there better then Bones Swiss)

(They even Accept Money orders if you don't got a Credit Card(Thats what i did))

the best shoes by far are the Emerica Kirchart 1's they are the strongest shoes EVER, I hate es shoes though they always get torn up soo much faster than any other shoe.

Its a Plant

Back when I used to skate I had a pair of those Koston 3's and they looked absolutely SICK, but yes, like 3rdeye said above, they tore up way too fast. I think that 'es shoes are more for looks persay, while some of the other brands concentrate more on the skating aspects of the design. I do however love the style that 'es presents, so I'm hooked.

eS isn't for the looks, they are one of the first to use the STI Techology, witch reduces the Pressure while jumping and skateboarding. and help spread the heat though out the foot so your feet fell more comfortable.

All you well find about eS Accels are good things with Reviews and stuff. I would have gotten there Accelerate but i ran outta money.

other shoes like Adio,DC and Globals are for looks, that suck.

PS. Don't judge the whole Shoe company base of 1 shoe, eS Accels are completely different then the Koston's
