Is it dangerous for me to smoke pot while I am on zoloft? I found some resources online saying yes AND no and the ones that say yes seem biased.

No, its not bad, I have taken zoloft for years and even my doctor who prescribes them says its not bad. It just amplifies the feeling so it takes less weed to get high

I'd like to ask you more questions about this...are you ever on AIM?

I find that since I upped my dosage of zoloft the highs are a little less pleasant in effects. I just want to make sure that I will not damage myself or that there could not be a toxic reaction. I am seeing my psychiatrist (who prescribes me the antidepressants) later today and I will talk to him about this.

u can get really fucked up if u are on zoloft... I remember being stoned as fuck on effexor, just sharing 3 bowls with 4 people... I couldn't even talk correctly, so consider ur self lucky u take anti depressents :)

I'm on zoloft as well (200mg a day) and I smoke about a 1/4 a week with no side effects...don't think it really gets me more stoned, but it definatly does no harm. I've been using pot to get me off a lot of meds that
I used to take (Xanax, zyprexa, zopliclone) and have been a million times better selfmedicating with weed. Will be off the Zoloft completly soon which is great b/c I've been taking antidepressants for 10 years, but I know I couldn't do it without weed...here's a couple of links explaining how weed can really help with depression, anxiety etc...
