Question About Amsterdam

I'm going to head up to amsterdam this weekend, and was wondering--

If I buy any Paraphenilia, will I be able to take it back with me to the U.S? I've been looking on the internet, but can't find anything saying it's wrong to; or say anything about it whatsoever.

I admit I haven't been, but it begs the question...

What does Amsterdam have to offer in the way of paraphenalia that you can't get at ANY head shop in the US, and assuming, anywhere else in the world?

Hit the coffee shops. Lots and lots and memories of them, and if your lucky, pictures, and nuggets or seeds brought back!

Why risk having your heart and glass broken? Probably all too common a scene at customs.

I was there in February and they tore all our bags apart. We were three hours in Chicago being searched. They took my son to one side and had him strip. Used unused it makes no difference to these nazis. Of the five packages we mailed home (legal stuff only) three made it ( one heavily damamged and obviously searched) Why bother? Take photos and have a great time. Go to Choclata for the BEST in baked goods and bon bons. Wow, I can still taste the hash. I like the Styx shop but Dolphins is great too. We named one of our sled dogs after the Siberie shop I have other posts with more info

Wow? that really sucks, they made your son strip to see if he had an weed on him? Did they just do this search randomly because your coming back from a trip from amsterdam?

That's pretty retarded. What if I mail it home? Would it have more of a chance?

WHY? Did they need a reason? Hair to his ass, hippy beard and sideburns, tatoos, only Amsterdam on his passport and, what was his last trip out of the country? AMSTERDAM last year! I try to enter Europe from London then it's not quite so obvious but sometimes I don't get what I want. Oh yes, they gave his wife a ration of shit as well these are not "children" they are 30!

Read my post "Smugglers Blues" It's not worth the time in jail. and NO! mailing is NO better. Every shop has a few house pipes and bongs smoke theirs and take a picture if you have to but don't even try. These days it's just not worth it. No seeds, no nugs, just memories. They can't confiscate them, YET.
