Well myself and two friends have decided to start growing. Over the past 6 months or so we've collected all the seeds we've found in sacks. A few days ago we planted 4 of them in potting soil and they sprouted yesterday. We're quite excited and have decided that these plants are going outside. We have two spots as of now, a private backyard and a private forest. We live in Oregon so the plants hopefully should grow pretty well. The ones in the backyard we've decided to plant mixed with large tomatoes along the wood fences. We will keep them trimmed so they dont get too huge. In the forest we are going to plant them next to a creek so hopefully they wont need as much keep up. We will also set up some animal deterrent as it would suck to have our crop eaten.

Eventually once weve gotten the money and everything together we are going to make a aeroponics or hydroponics system in a shed. The system we've drawn out in the attachment is aeroponics and is based alot on latewoods post (Thanks). I was wondering if it looks like it would work. Also what would be best for:

1. The Rocks? lava rock, roclite, cubes, etc
2. The Nutrients?
3. The timing cycle for light and spraying

We plan on buying a 400 HPS bulb for growing four plants. I was also wondering could we simply add another container and use it for when we need to clone like in the drawing?

Any input on anything will help a ton. Thanks

Whats up altec.

My suggestion to you is to read up. Do your outdoor grows and get a feel for how MJ grows.
Hydroponics(areo,DWC,E/F) is NOT the way o go if you have never grown bud before. You will be getting in way over your head.
Grow some organic soil for your first round. Soil is a lot more forgiving than hydro. You will still have nice bud plus most of the equipment to start your hydro and it will give you time to read up on hydro.

Im thinking now in the indoor we will just use 4 pots with potting soil. We will hook up a timer to a garden hose with just a drip system on the other end. We will fertilize it and stuff when it needs to but, this seems easiest and cheapest. Do you think just the tap water will do?
