I accidently fell asleep with my contacts in for about an hour, when i woke up my right one was still in but i think my left one might of fallen out because my left eyes all blurry like when its not in, could it be a possibility that its gone up my eye lid and is stuck up there? and if thts a possibility then should i be worried? lol... fuck. did'nt know where else to ask or w.e so yeah...

roll your eye around if it's up there that might get it unstuck

yeah they can go up in your eye but its physically impossible for it to get stuck behind your eye. its just like anything else u ge stuck in there. it will work its way out but u should feel some discomfort in the eye if it did go up in there. its happened to me and it will come out be careful not to rub them to hard cuz it can scratch your eye.

then again i don't know how it could of fallen out cuz i would of had my eyes closed. I can't really feel anything, when i roll my eye around it dos'nt really do anything, my eye kinda makes a weird noise tho

when i close my eye and rub it with my finger it does feel like somethings in there.

this has happened to me a bunch of times. if ur contact is under ur eyelid you will definetly feel some discomfort like maybe itching and irritation, like a grain of sand is in ur eye. if you dont feel much of anything it probably just fell out, not much to worry about. if its still in your eye try lifting ur eyelid and pulling it over ur bottom lid. once u have it there blink a couple of times while holding it there, if that doesnt work then just stick ur fingers in there there and dig it out ;-)

i fall asleep all the time and wake up missing a contact or with it sittin on my face, they get dry an fall out, i assume they have anyway, *shakes head* i dont hear anything back there. i wear lenses that are supposed to be tossed out every 2 weeks, but, most of the time i just take em out about once a month or so, lmao.

get a shower... it works everytime... it also works if you leave them in all night and you wake up and your house looks foggy, and they are stuck to your eyes.

Well i've been messin around and i can deftinly feel something quite large in my top eye lid, eyes still blurry but im just gonna watch some king of the hill and roll my eye around a bit to see if i can get it in place.

and going in the shower with contacts in your eyes? like? place water on my face? or u mean like the steam or something lol

I mean if its stuck in your eye, and you want it out (as the thread suggested) take a shower... It will come out.

Ok I have lost a lense in my eye before. One thing you can do is lay on your back and flush with saline. You also can put a lense in the same eye and sometimes they will stick to each other and bring the stuck one out.

If not I would go see your eye dr or call a nurse line. You can scratch your cornea sp? badly even with acuvue.

Last resort ER, but don't drive yourself

Hope that helps.

ok i think im gonna stop trying because my eye's as red as fuck, im starting to think mybe its not stuck in my eye lol... but i don't know what else because i don't see how it could of fallen out because i had my eye's closed, and i kept my head on the pillows and did'nt move while i was sleeping... I felt like something was in my eye, now i can't feel it "as" much. But mybe i just feel something because i've been messin with my eye so much. God this is annoying lol.

They're monthly one's and i think i've had the one's i got no for about 2 weeks. This being my 3rd week. I've got another pair somewhere for the next month. But i've looked in a mirror and lifted my eye lids and i can't see anything and i've tried everything and i still can't get em to get back in place. So yeah mybe they did fall out.

just because YOU think you didn't move or anything in your sleep doesn't mean anything. my wife wakes up all the times, talks to me even, goes back to sleep.... doesn't remember ever waking up in the morning... and she's a light sleeper, so you can't tell me that you don't do that cuz you're a light sleeper.

if it was in your eye, you WOULD know... and don't base it on how your eye feels now. did you KNOW your contact was still in your eye before you started poking around at it, or did you just have blurry vision (meaning it's not where it's supposed to be), or did you feel some other physical object under one of you eyelids?

not to mention, people tend to rub their eyes alot when they sleep.... theoretically, you rubbed your eye while you were asleep, without remembering it in the morning but the contact came out on your arm, and could be anywhere from on your clothes/skin, to in your bed or on the floor, or anywhere you've been all day....

lol?

Im just gonna go wash my hands and take my right one out and go bed. Don't think i'll be able to find this contact tho because the first thing i did was look for it and i can't find it anywhere, and yes. I did try my skin/clothes.

LOL, that is funny but then again its not, if it is in there it will rear its ugly little head when it is ready. Hope you find it soon!

after u poke ur eye that much your bound to feel like theres something in there

i've pinched my eye and pulled it up before thinking it was my contact stuck to my eye.

look in the mirror, or get someone else to look at ur eye in the light, and look down, left, right, etc., they will be able to see if its in there.
