I took these pics today after i got more lights and added them in, can someone see if this could be a male only asking cause next to the y part or node part of where the new leaves will be growing i see small little things in the air like little upside down burgers, if you zoom in on the one pic you can get a better look but they are small and hard to see

and now that i have more lights surrounding them how do they look?
I will be replanting them tonight i just got some more soil and now i just need to get the containers

actualyl look at the 2nd pic and when you zoom in you will see 2 new leaves in the middle starting to come out then if you look between the left leaf and the stem you can see a little thing sticking up in the back small but it's there......can you tell from that?

they won't show as males or females before you start flowering

I been studying that pic like a hawk and i can still not see anything. I can almost be positive that plants not old enough to show pre-flowers under veg yet.

The lights are ok, the plants not stretching, thats the thing u have to look for...

If you wanna know the sex, then put the lights into 12/12 and then after 2 weeks you should see...

If your still in doubt, post more pics, but only when its been in 12/12...

i thought that at first but at every node there is 4 of these 2 on each side but these little hair type things havent done anything and there has been new growth but these have just stayed where they are
cheers all :)

could they be the early early development of the sex parts just unestabilished until the proper time???

I believe Lip has it correct in it being secondary growth.

This is just my twisted method going here, but here's my take.
I don't know enough about growing plants with your light source so it's hard to tell how fast they will develop. That said... I'd keep vegging for at least 2 more weeks. Then go to 12/12

Your plants look healthy and thriving...

Good Luck which ever of the many paths you have to decide to take... ;)

thanks again i actually just had a flub cause i needed to replant them to give them more room and when i did the top on the biggest one bent over, not off or a crack but just bent over so i supported it with a straw and a stong attached to help support it more, i watered it nicely and added some extra nitrogen a little not too much and i put then back under the lights, and then the one lamp fell over and it cracked so now the timer has gone off the lights are out and tomorrow i'll have to get my thrid light back in the picture, this was more of a hassel then expected and more stress added to my life....thanks for the thoughts though guys the little bit of growth is just a question i can maybe answer in the future to someone else who asks...

Don't see nothing wrong man, looks good.

If you're not planning on any of that new growth toward the bottom eventually becoming a bud, it needs to be cut off so the plant can put it's energy into the fruit you want. I always pinch or cut off the lower sucker buds. Keep as many fan leaves as possible but don't let anything shade any new sprouts you want to keep.

sounds good when i go to flower that's what i'll do i'll cut off some of the lower leaves
