How long are the tubes? 12" 24"? 120"??

hmmm... you should decide for your self. From my experiences with unsuccessfull cloning (a LOT) and the ones that where successfull, I've learned that clones, during the 1st days, needs a very weak light. VERY weak.

That's MY opinion... just, try it out!

It will work just dont light all of them up till you see the start of roots..To much light is bad....peace

this seems to be a very dodgy subject on this forum cause everyone tells ya what works for them but it is not always gonna work for you
i have tryed a few of these methods and ended coming up with one of my own that works very nicely
so i guess at the end of the day it is best to experiment slightly and see what happens for you
