Rookie with morning glories

I bought 10 packets of morning glory seeds. They are blue stars from burpee. These aren't coated with any poisons, right? And they should work even though they aren't heavenly blue? Im planning on taking 5 packs or about 7.5 grams.

im not sure if blue stars will work. I think its a certain kind. heavenly blue, flying saucers, and another I cant recall.

MORNING GLORY -- _Ipomoea violacea._ Family Convolvulaceae (Bindweed
family).
Material: Seeds and to a lesser extent all other parts of plant
except roots. Strongest varieties are: Heavenly Blue, Pearly Gates,
Flying Saucers, Wedding Bells, Blue Star, Summer Skies, and Badoh
Begro (Mexican variety).
Usage: 5-10 grams of seeds are thoroughly chewed and swallowed or
may be thoroughly ground and soaked in 1/2 cup water for half an hour,
strained and drunk.
Active constituents: D-lysergic acid amide and ergometrine.
Effects: LSD-like experience lasting about 6 hours.
Contraindications: Persons with history of hepatitis or other
liver disorders should not take lysergic acid amides. Ergometrine has
uterus-stimulating properties and should not be taken by pregnant
women. Some suppliers treat morning-glory seeds with poison to
discourage use as a mind alterant, or with methyl mercury to prevent
spoilage (symptoms: vomiting, diarrhea). If treated seeds are
planted, toxins are not transmitted to next generation. Some persons
wearing treated seeds as beads on bare skin have developed rash.

If you're going to try morning glories, use Heavenly Blue or Pearly Gates. Also, since you bought them in those seed packet bunches, make sure you wash them extremely well. They're sold with chemicals on them so they grow better... they're not intended for human use. It won't kill you but it will make the nausea really really bad. So just clean them up super good, make sure you chew them up really good, and enjoy. Just so you know, it's illegal to consume them, in case you were wondering ;)!

i remember when i tried morning glories seeds tasted so bitter i decided to chew gum while i was chewing them i swear it just dissolved my gum and i threw up before i had a chance for the LSA to kick in. Don't think im doing morning glories again.

I prefer Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds... much more LSA so you only need 3 - 15 seeds for effects. It's a bitch to eat that many morning glory seeds, you're better off making a home extraction then using them. Just search erowid or google, extractions for morning glories are all over the net.

I heard that burpee does not add any chemicals to their seeds. Someone here mailed them and they confirmed that.

Yea i have been eating other kinds of morning glory seeds other than burpee lately because the burpee seeds dont seem as potent. Its kinda difficult to judge since sometime youll have a real nice batch of fresh hallucinogenic seeds and other times u only get these shriveled up dead, concrete seeds that taste horrible (but still manage to fck u up)
Stick to the heavenly blue + pearly gates :twocents:

That was insane. If those aren't as strong as heavenly blue, I don't want heavenly blues. I freaked out after about 6 hours. I wanted the trip to end but it wouldn't. The whole thing lasted about 12 hours. I was jumpy and overall freaked out. It was fun at first, but got old fasat.
