My problem is I can't figure out how to take the ultra frosty shots like some people do. I tried several settings on the camera, Macro mode, food mode (another macro setting), green mode, etc. The shots came out a little better when I put them almost directly underneath a lamp instead of just putting them on a counter in a lighted kitchen (light not as direct). Always used flash as well. I've heard of some people using a microscope to enhance the glisten of trichromes. Any tips guys?

Getting really good bud shots is tricky, especially those glistening trich shots. Photography has been a hobby of mine for more than 20 years, and I'm using several thousdands of $ worth of gear, and I'm usually less than happy with my bud shots. A few months ago I actually picked up a new lens just for photographing buds which helped out a lot, now I just need to get some really nice looking buds.

Anyhow, Proper exposure is key. Your shots are just a bit overexposed, most likely due to the black background and black lighter. This lightens up the bud overall which hides the lighter trichs. Having a really crisp, sharp picture also helps. Your pics were taken with an F-stop of 2.6 which has a pretty low depth of field. A higher F-stop, F16 or F22, would give a much more crisp picture.

Diesal is a head trip. Hits you instantly, within seconds, after 1-2 tokes. Head is not just buzzing, but more like throbbing. Music gets an echo effect. One bowl (4-5 hits) lasts me a good 2-2.5 hours. Smoke is a little rough going down, and when it's in your lungs, after 1 second it tickles, and after 2 seconds it feels like a shot of gunpowder went off in your lungs. Upon exhale (via coughing), you are left with a nice icy, lemony, menthol coating in your mouth.

I know this may sound stupid, but can one only find NYC Diesel in NewYorkCity or is it dealt elsewhere also? And the same question applies to the Amnesia HaZe!?!?

You can find NYC Diesal anywhere. It got its name because supposedly it originated in New York, or that's where the cross happened. You can get seeds for both from Soma seeds. If I remember correctly, NYC Diesal is Chemdawg (original diesal) x hawaiian/afghani.

From what I've seen, the popular strains vary from area to area. The west coast is in love with the Kushes, the east coast with the Diesals, UK with Skunk, and Amsterdam with Haze.

Half ounce? I paid $760 for the two, but that was with a decent discount. One oz goes for $450, so I'd imagine a half would be around $250.
