my friend has just started flowering 2 plants using a 200w blue envirolite (which i no is the wrong spectrum) the hole grow has been great with no major cocks ups at all, how ever over the last few days (About a week in to flowering) the tips of the leaves have curled down and the plants looks a slightly darker green, leaves look slightly crinkled. new growth seems healthily with no curls or discolouration

the room is well ventilated, the temps are fine. there being fed once every few weeks with a week solution of n2 p1.8 k4.3 plus 2 drops of super thrive.

im trying to figure out if its maybe lack of light, wrong spectrum, neut problem? or is this expected when flowring?

what is your humidity level, start using regular strength nutes, and get some hps on those plants. when using superthrive you also have to use your nutes to promote healthy plants. 1/4 tbs of superthrive in a 1 gallon jug.

The light probably would not have caused this problem..

can you post a picture?

light is not going to cause that problem.

checkout my thread in this forum titled Spent $4000.

my water is high in calcite as i mentioned. this combines with the P nute to form calcium phosphate thus making the P immobile. lack of P causes exactly what i described: curling and contorting with dark splotches.

you may not have the same hardwater that i have, but you surely have a nute problem. General Hydro's bloom is 0-5-4 NPK because the need for phosphorous is great during flowering.

wade your way through the advice here and try to establish a few that you trust their advice. i personally usually refer to my source, which is often "Indoor Marijuana Horticulture", an amazing resource.

They seem very healthy to me. Possibly even a little too well fed. It looks like some of my leaves when there was too much moisture and food. The leaf tips were droopy and dark green. Even though there was no actual tip burn.
Then again I could be wrong.

they seem to be getting worse. its odd cus they have been on the same feeding patten since seed. i dont see why it would effect the plant now. they have alwats been helthy??

I think the plant requires less nitrogen when flowering. The fertilizer could also be building up in the soil. Your situation doesn't look bad though. Somebody else might know for sure.

also 1 plant has been left as a mother and is on the window ledge its doing realy well on the same feed patten, same water.. and with day light, there are no curled leaves on the mother. would this suggest that the plants DO need more N because the 2 other plants r flowering?

your humidity is way to high in there 73-83. get some heat in there, it will lower your humidity, until your hps gets in.

your plants are fine, dont worry.

during flower you need to raise your K and P ALOT. they could be hungry
