Okai One of my plants got split down the center of the stem. Right where two nodes meet. Ive done this by accident before and all I did was tie it up and put some wet soil around it.
But I was just wondering if anyone knows any other little things to help it heal up nicely.
If you need pics just let me know. :stoned:

I might have just watered the 'wound', then pressed the two halfs together and secured them with tape. In a week -- if the plant's healthy -- there will be a huge knot of a growth mass where the split once was.

Well Shes looking soooo healthy.. I tied down a few branchs for now untill my grow room is complete... it is in the center of a room and in the closet are my Floros.
I have a 400W HPS for the 12/12 that will be started today at 7AM :)
I will be caging the spot in with ply wood in all corners... and then Ill get my mylar... I know I lose some yeild for now.. But I wont mind I have 8 clones from my "big plant" which I really need to name already.. then one from my "bullhorn" and 2 from my "kush" now... neither of the kush clones are looking well... and the 8 clones loook soo healthy.. the "bullhorn" is one crazy plant.. Justa seed said I outta cut it down.. but well.. I only have 3 plants.. and untill I see seed pods she stays up.. id like to trythe bud and hope her baby does well

OKai.. Update I ended up taping it however it hasnt grown back together.
But I dont seem to see any lack of growing or any signs of anything bad.. other then my gnat problem. I might have not put the tape tight enought though.

Also, I am about 6 days into flowering, I was wondering if it would affect the buds or yield?
Im going to try to put the tape tighter tomorrow hopefully this helps..

It takes some time. If your plants are growing normally, they are fine.

I've done that before - you end up with a very solid middle part to the plant - sets u back a week but prob not a problem at all. I think the sticking it together with soild idea aint too smart tho ;)

- string or tape is good, watch out u dont spit it agian while training (i resplit mine after it healed :S)

hey guys

just wanted to add my solution for when i dropped a 3 foot high fan straight ontop of 1 scrog plant

it broke pretty much in half and split down the side with a thin strip of stem still connecting it. so i used one of those plastic ties that are used to group cables together.

be careful not to pull it too tight, i started to split the other side of the stem a little but it all healed fine.

ive also used these to train fan leafs

neway hope that helps
