Greetings fellow Cannabis friends! I will be quick here because i have to leave but this review is extremely important as because there is no other one like this on the internet...
I have just recieved my AroMed vaporizer and i am thrilled and here is why.. this is my third vaporizer, I spent 125$ on the vapolution a while back, and then it died, then i bought the vapir one forced air fan unit, for 150$ and it started having problems after the first week!, not to mention, I suspect a brush motor in there because the vice president of the vapir corp is not responding to the question regarding brushes in the motor, so now i have to completely destroy the vaporizer to take apart the motor, which i will do in the next couple of days. and if i find brushes, i will post another thread stating the extreme dangers of using such a device....
Anyway, this AroMed vaporizer is the first perfect vaporizer, in my opinion, if u buy anything else, including the valcano, u are wasting your money and time and patience... ALL VAPORIZERS OUT THERE ARE TRASH EXCEPT THE AROMED, AND THE VALCANO IS JUST EXPENSIVE MORE RELIABLE TRASH....
why? because even the valcano is a forced air unit, and when u blow into a balloon the hemp vapor, much of it sticks to the wall of the balloon! and u loose it... with the AroMed, u toke like u are toking a joint, and thats all there is to it... this is the first vaporizer i have been able to sucessfully share with friends and have everyone do it right! and u can load a nice size bowl for a greater concentration! and then when u are finished with the vaporizer, and have to move on to the next party or back home, forget about have to worry about dumping the water out so u dont spill it in the car just DRINK IT! it tastes great and is a buzz enhancer, especially if a few bowls went through it, then it will kik some butt in the buzz department... i have been dealing with vaporizers for the past year, owned 2 already and this is my third.. and based on the hours of research and testing, simply put, if u buy another vaporizer other than the AroMed, u are throwing away your money as i did when i was trying to save a few dollars... This vaporizer is definatly worth the money, i paid 400$ with shipping, but now that people are discovering this vaporizer, demand is going up and supply is staying the same, so therefore as we all know, now the prices will start to creep up, infact i have already seen a 10$ increase in price sinse i bought mine, and that was only a week ago... Now i can truly say, all i do is vaporize! no more smoking for me! not so with the other vaporizers, i still did both, simply because they were so complicated to make work properly and accurately, wether it be trying to follow the speed of the air flow coming from the vapir one, or trying to figure out what is going on at all with the vapolution, 275$ on these in the trash!
I posted this because I needed it when i started looking for vaporizers, and if i had it, i could have saved the 275$ and lots of frustration aned dissapointent
vape on!

greetings! ok i just ripped apart and destroyed my vapir one to find out if there is a brush motor inside and YES there is, i will include some pics...
( why did i look for these?
because i saw a sticker that said made in china, so i figured there had to be some harmful aspect to the device. )and for those of us who dont know what a brush motor is, basically, it is a motor with a center section (armature) that is also wound with wire and the brushes are typically carbon pieces that connect voltage to that center spinning part.. the problem? the carbon brushes slide by friction along the center post of the armature, when that happens a find dust is created by the continual friction from the bruses to the armature, and guess what? we get to inhale the carbon dust which is far worse than smoke... so before u get a vaporizer with a fan in it, be sure u understand what kind of motor is in there and that is completely isolated from airflow going over the motor, or even easier, just dont get one with a fan, get the AROMED, Im telling u, no crap with that vaporizer.. no im not a sales man, i just finally ran across a real vaporizer after wasting money, time, and patience, run lots of bowls throught the water, which does absorb some of the thc, as well as the particals that get through the screen, and then drink it and get loaded just by the water, and it tastes good too...

temperature is high because that is the end of the bowl and temps need to be higher, starting temp i usually use is around 335F, and as the flavor decreases, the temp needs to be increased.. and sense u can load such a large bowl, the concentration of the puff is much higher, because much more budd, lasts a long time and u can actually feel the puffs coming to the head much easier, i find that once it starts to taste like crap and is brown, then it is dust, just because the fresh flavor dissapears to almost like nothing till dust then tastes like dust. then time for a new one. but make sure there is always at least some flavor even when it has less flavor, hahahaa. i have used 1 bowl to get 2 other friends loaded once, and myself again and my brother, and then me again now, and the bowl is now getting near its end.... and then i iwll load a fresh one and hang out and vaporize with the neighbor for a little while.. im not embarrased to take this vaporizer around like i was the last ones i owned, this thing is a HIT!

hahaha, well fortunatley i didnt use it too much, it started having problems within the first week, and fortunatly my exposure was minimul, and now that this is exposed, i cant believe that these clowns would pull something like that... the vice president of vapir acknowledged my question regarding brush motors, but just said he would check into it, and i never heard from him again.... so now its the next stone victums' oportunity to sacrifice or quit the health sacrifice all together and get the AroMed vaporizer! yaaaaaaaaaaa!

according to these polls it appears that the vaporizing hemp community is either mis informed or mislead, I think we need to start another thread and see if we can challenge the valcano vs the AroMed!

dude, its just a brushed motor. Half of the fans inside peoples computers are as well. Your shoe rubbing against the capet kicks out more particulate than a 200cfm brush motor will in 10 years.
Also, small amounts of carbon are not bad for you, at all.
Stop trying to plug the Aromed with a pointless nitpick like this

who wants to inhale carbon dust and computer dust? which by the way ding dong, the computer fans are not brush motors, but your vacuume cleaner is. basically my point for bringing this to the attention of the hemp community is simply because i would have wanted to know this information. if u want to inhale a foreign carbon dust which does not dissapear in your lungs, it stays there, well then go for it, but if u want to know what vapir seems to want to keep a secret, then i have provided that for u and, u are welcome

oh yes and of course, we dont exactly carry a tube to inhale the regular dust (which doesnt include carbon) that we kik up with our shoes against the carpet, besides, as far as standard dust, we already breathe enough of that, but when one is buying a device for the purpose of taking less crap into there lungs, who wouldnt be concerned that they are inhaling carbon dust, at least that is the standard but, it may also contain lead, and being made in china it most likely will have lead in with the carbon, and for those of us who are alert and watchfull, we wont be prey to such things, on the other hand, those of us who want nice clean vaporization, cant get it with carbon and lead.. what? no lead? how do u know? do u want to take that chance? remember china is not a good government.. already years ago they put a chemical in PLAYDO! that screwed up childrens reprodutive ablility and they couldnt have children. I dont think i want a country like that making a health product for me and i dont want to spend the money nessesary for research on a want to be vaporizer, just buy the real deal and be happy! VAPE ON!

WHY NO BRUSH MOTORS IN A COMPUTER?
Because the carbon dust is an electrical conductor, get carbon dust in the motherboard, and its all over. simple as that, they wont even put those things in a computer... but also because they are more noisey than any other motor

come on man, give us the FULL story here...i mean you have only been here a few days and made a couple dozen posts ALL of which are about vaporizors! obviously you have a stake in this biz so why not quit bashing the competitors and do some honest advertising where it belongs...in the "for sale" room? you'll get more respect and won't come off looking like a used car salesman...

hey essay i am responding out of my frustration with crap vaporizers, i worked my rear end off finding information out regarding vaporizers and the reason im making such a big deal out of it is because i was ripped off 275$, and now i want to provide information that would have saved me from going through all that crap right here. NOTHIN BUT COMMEN SENSE FOR SALE FOR FREE RIGHT HERE.
EVEN IF I WAS A SALESMAN, CAN U DISPUTE OR PROVE ME WRONG IN ANYTHING I HAVE SAID? SO HOW ABOUT POSTING THIS ALSO IN THE FACTUAL DEPARTMENT AS WELL. AND LETS CALL IT THE NO BULL ABOUT VAPORIZERS WHILE WE ARE AT IT.

can you tell me what the heat up time is like for the aromed?

04-19-2006, 07:23 AM
heat up time about 15 seconds then ready to go
chaywoo

it uses halogen bulb uv free rated at 1000 hrs minimum, sense it is pre-heated by radient light, and then when the inhaler comes along pulls through the bulb chamber and then there is a combination of convected heat and radiant heat, the AroMed actually senses the product temp and makes adjustments automatically to maintain perfect temps.. i have found that then dusting of the bowl between 430 and 450f, depending on which hemp is loaded... a hefty bowl, about 3/4 full, which is about 1 joint and a 1/4 cig size, i think a full bowl would be 2 joints worth.... remember increase temps as flavor decreases.... this is a common thing that needs to be done with all vaporizers, but before i was lucky if i could get someone to get one flavor hit, now probably 10 to 20 good flavor hits (depending on how loaded the bowl is), and they all taste great and consistant every hit! VAPE ON DOOOOOOD!

chaywoo...are you serious about the 15 second warm up time? the aromed website says it takes 2 minutes to warm up, but I watched a video of a guy using an aromed and it didn't seem to take 2 minutes before he took a hit...it was like 30 seconds. I really need to know how fast the aromed warms up before i purchase one. thanks.

ok here is how fast it works for me... when i have a fresh bowl loaded, i usually start at 335F to get a feel for the starting vape temp of the current budd, that takes about 15 seconds. but when i have a bowl that has gone through a few vaping sessions, and it needs to go to 450F then it takes about 45 seconds to 1 min at the most.. but if this is being done outside at the north pole, i am sure the time needed would be much longer.... i would say that 2 mins must have figured in much lower ambient temps than 65 - 70F.. if u have ever owned a vaporizer, then u will be very pleased with this one... u will say to yourself that u wished that was your first vaporizer as i did, but then again, when i was using the trashy ones, i thought all was well while they were functional, and as long as i tweeked all my actions just right for the vaporizer then i had success... this one is success every hit... as far as temp increase, i would say about every 2 or 3 tokes increase temp by about 2 to 4 degrees.. u will know if the temp has outpaced the budd or whatever herb u may use...

I bought mine from vaposcience.com, i think they have raised there prices sense i bought mine, but if u search the internet, u may find another website listing vaposcience.com price for less... so i told vaposcience and they sold it to me for the lower price listed at the other website.. 400$ including shipping... or what u can do is tell them that your friend in washington state just bought one for 400$ including shipping and that i refered u and u want the same price, my name is Chris.. they got it out in the mail the same day...
