Yeah but he also had 2 other previous convictions, so its not like this was his first offense, and it was 200g of weed. Its still harsh, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone were to recieve a similar sentence in the states, save the 10 strokes.

Christ, how childish, 10 fucking strokes? Their beating people to abide by their laws? No better than gangs if you ask me. What is the government but one big, organized gang anyways?

States tend to tack on 10 thousand bucks or more.
Maybe take your car, your house, your education, your job, your kids, even without a conviction.

Most state and federal mj laws are still a lot more like Malaysia than Alaska.

Damn, according to this the dude got lucky!

Malaysian legislation provides for a mandatory death penalty for convicted drug traffickers. Individuals arrested in possession of 15 grams (1/2 ounce) of heroin or 200 grams (seven ounces) of marijuana are presumed by law to be trafficking in drugs.

You are totally right. Humans are animals by nature, there is no denying that. And being true to our nature, how hard is it to come to the conclusion that corporal punishment is okay?

Oh, wait...

I just used an amazing skill I have that Frivolous248 [sic] doesn't have: Common sense and the analysis of empirical evidence. Corporal punishment fucking works to reduce crime, you stupid hippie!

So, does that count as trolling?
