Ok so i'm havin one of those "stoned out my brain" thoughts, and it is this....

Theres no such thing as "emo", the stereotype that some folks seem to fall under, mostly through the music they listen to, why do i think this i hear you ask?.....

Well the answer is this... emo is from the word emotional, as in emotional music right, ppl classed as emo's typically listen to what is considered emotional music but... all music is emotional, the purpose of any type of music is to stir an emotion, be it happiness, sadness, anger, hate, love etc. so therefore no-one can be called an "emo" simply because everyone listens to emotional music, music is the embodiment of emotion, everything from Britney Spears to Nirvana to Beethoven (dunno if thats spelt right lol) so therefor.....

yea i know that, it's not the fact that i don't see how music could induce emotion, it's the fact that i don't really have that much emotion for anything, usually i just listen to music because i hate silence, or because i'm bored, or because it trips me out when i'm high. godsmack however, does make me want to get up and fight.. it can bring out the anger in me.... very easily sometimes....

The house we orignaly came from, is a piece of shit compared to this one, and went for 26K back when my folks paid for it, if you sir, live n an area, where the houses are STILL going for 30K-, no offense sir but its a shit hole, n no house is bigger then a chicken coop. obviously i have pulled this info straight outa my cornhole, cuz i have no fucking clue where you live, iam going off of genralizations, for moderen house costs, no matter where you are at, cuz currently, the house that i used to live in that was originaly bought for 26K would go for 80k now give or take 10, due to living increases, cost of living, and yadda yadda over the past 30 yrs. So it wouldnt be too terribly wrong, to consider your house in the 70k+ range, as iam sure, you dont live in a shit hole or slum.

I, personally, have something against the entire emo viewpoint. Somewhat because it breeds apathy and little girls (big word and stupid term, great mix) . Regardless, I think emo has about as much to do with its music as does rap.

Think about it this way,

If poor kids are supposed to be hard and act like gangsters (taken from the rap genre) then what is left for the rich kids? They can either pretend to be poor, hence wiggers, or they can own up to the fact that they are neither hard nor poor, and are an entity that is struggling for attention in its own way.

Of course, it's nothing more than striving for attention, but then again, that's really what every teenager wants.
