hey if i live in southern california, would it work out well if i started my grow in the beginning of may? also, would it be okay if i used fertilizer wen my plant just sprouted?

Wait to use ferts till the third set of main leaves.
If hieght is not a problem then you can pop your sprouts now.

its not rainy right now..it rained last week sometime but i think the rain isnt gonna come back anymore
