Taken A Break

Well guys, i've been thinkingg. I think im gonna take a break from weed for a while. I'm just beggining to question if itss really worth the money. You sea, it's kind of like wehn i was younger. I had a little cash, and the choice to buy some nice yuummy candy, or a decent game. Id chose the game. Why?
Well the candy would be great, but once u eat it is gone. You cadnt re-use candy. Its a one time joy. However, the decent game which may not "taste" as good aas the candy will remain much longer. I can enjoy it far longr than i could the candy.

Now, just pretend weed is candy. Yea, its great... but it doesn't last. And it really bugs me after finishing off an 8th, cause im thinking "damn... there just went 40 bukcs."
So I'm thinking, look what I'm doing. I'm buyingg the candy and onyl getting the temporary joy from my money. I should be putting it towards the things i really love such as druming. A nice new cymbal will last me waaaaay longer than a big bag of weed, and i'd surely be happy with it for a looong time.


So yea, i guess im gonna take a break for a good while. possibly even till school starts up again next year, cause over the summer id like to look for a good job.
Does anyone else get this, or am I the onyl one?



The ironic part of this is that I'm fuking high right now haha. So maybe when I sober up I'll change my mind, who knows. I jsut felt like sharing, so hope it made some sence.

one of your basic rights listed by the constitution is life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Does weed make u happy? You don't need to take a break, u need to learn how to play the balancing act. Weed is meant to be an enhancer, not the thing being enhanced by the enhancer.

Hahaha I have been thinking the same......and over the past week I havnt been thinking much about weed or ciggys!

Im actually wondering wether I have finally matured into an adult.....I feel so fucking wierd. Im still smoking weed and ciggy's but I have cut down from 1/8 a day to maybe a spliff. and 15 ciggys a day to 2-3 its fucking wonderful. This week I have had some days were i havnt had a single smoke on something.

Normally I would be tearing my hair out but its all good. I have finally matured and reached that point were i realise that weed isnt everything and money iis far better....

If all you can afford is a gram then yes you do need to quit.Maybe some adults prefer the pleasure of weed instead of the other pleasures that also cost money.

But yea, I think I will take a little break. Until I can get a better source of cash, I'm not gonna smoke as heaviyl. I wont stop like I said I will, just maybe smoke at parties and maybe buy just an 1/8 once a month. Limit myself, ya know?


Growing it myself is out of the question right now, but as soon as I move out I'll probably try to. id type more but all of a sudden i just felt this boost sort of... hard to explain, but im feelin gooooood. :D:D:D

I don't need a car I have legs,I don't need a mortgage there are no kids to leave it to,I don't go out pubbing/clubbing alot so that is how I can afford to smoke.If my priorities change then so will my intake of weed but at the moment I don't mind sacrificing other pleasure because it's worth it :stoned:

Damn, I must have a really bad memory. For some reason I thought you were 14. Alright, lemme put it this way. For me, a college kid who's also holding down a job and getting my own apartment, spending money like I used to just ain't in the picture. But then again, growing is free.
