Was it bone dry before you sealed it up?
Did you have it in the dark the whole time?
Is there any mold?
If no to any of the above I'll look it up.
I remember reading something about putting orange peels to restore it or make it better than it was...
How is the buzz?
If it's good use a vaporizer as it won't taste so bad and the buzz is great.
Or
I've heard of stuff you can get a head shop to flavor it.

You sure don't want mold in your weed. It's nasty. I did that to a pound when I was a wee sprout because I'd heard it made it more potent. I messed up 12 oz. and killed some of the buzz yoo:mad:

You say you've dried it, so mold shouldn't be your problem...it would help to know how you cured it, but it just sounds like your pot smells bad and that's all. It's been my experience to just have some pot that smells worse than others, with no real difference. If you cured it slowly, removed it from it's container daily and moved the buds around, then replaced it in a 70ish, dark environment, then all should be well. Again, only speaking from my experience, less manicured pot tends to smell worse. When I made hash oil from males and clippings, it smelled terrible.
The orange peel works well for rehydrating very dry pot. It's an amazingly little trick that brings life back to your bud. Just drop a slice of peel in your container for a few hours and your buds are moist again.
The real question, though, is how does it smoke? A good cure will make a smoother smoke. Is it a good buzz?

Jeez, I bet you never do that again;)
Make sure its completly dry, make sure no mold has formed.
Put it in the jar in a dry dark place and open the lid for about 30 mins a day.
The curing process is where the green clouring (chlorophyll) is breaking down, and thats why you can smell grass...
Leave it for about a month, and the weed smell should return.

You might want to open it like 3 times a day at first if it's still pretty wet. Basicly you want to hang it in the dark until the stem snaps after bending.
Then you trim it up and cure in the jars. At first open it alot. After a few days. Once a day for 30 minutes.
Also that green smell is very normal for some strains. Some strains just need the cure to taste better. Be patient and cure your buds for flavor and potentcy.

That odor you are describing is chlorophyll being used up by the buds. Did you flush them at the end and did you stop feeding then N the last 10-14 dayâ??s before you flushed?
IF you answered NO then the odor is chlorophyll being used up. That is why we cure the buds to rid the flowers of stored up chlorophyll.
Watch for mold and moisture on the inside of the galss and as well as the buds them selfs.
