can somebody write a letter about legalizing marijuana use based on scientific studies, logic, and denouncing some of the biased studies that were later taken back by Gaha or whomever it was. preferably well-written. this would make it easier for everyone to write to their congressman, and if somebody on the boards gave permission, then we wouldn't have to worry about plagiarism.

make sure the info is current; and, if possible, back it with 2 or 3 studies.

dang that's asking a lot. I would be much obliged if someone would do this.

i'll write you one tomorrow... i write them a lot, i'll just spend a little more tomorrow... you want it more about marijuana as a drug or as a plant? I like to say things like hemp can produce eight times the amount of ethonol than corn... but if you just want the drug facts i'll do that. until then, i gotta get high and pass out...

i remeber i had this... just incase you wanted something to do tonight.. but ya i'll get ya a good one tomorrow...

It is our goal to pass along information about marijuana and the many people who use the drug. As well as for the many reasons it's used. We believe that cannibis has been given a bad name and the US government has covered-up/ ignored the plethora of uses the hemp plant could provide. A few small things cannabis could be used for if it were legal...

1 - Oil, Hemp seeds and well as the plant itself contain cellulose, a reuseable source for ethenol which could completely dissolve the US's dependence on foriegn oil. The seed's oil can also be used to provide energy, which can be used instead of neuclar energy, coal or other fossil fuels.

2- Paper, Our founding fathers wrote the words that granted our freedom on a piece of hemp paper. Our founding fathers also used that Declaration as a guide to run a country, on inwhich the idea's were built upon christianity. A religion inwhich the origianl King James Bible was written on hemp. The first known printed text, coming from China (770ad) was printed on 100% hemp paper. It's been known since Jesus that Hemp could be a never ending source of paper... we could stop cutting do rainforrest today if marijuana we're legal.

3- Clothing, Hemp is stronger less costly to produce than cotton. It's fibres last longer than cotton fibres and need no chemicals to refine. Our solider's fought for our freedom in hemp clothing and sailed ships which used over 60 tons of hemp. The quest of manifest destiny took place with thousands of pioneers paving the way across the United States in canvas covered wagons. The word canvas actually comes from cannabis around 6000 years ago.

4- Soil, The hemp plant itself is also a great crop by itself because of the positive effects it has on the soil. It's a 'perfect' plant for farmers to grow between crops because of the many uses the plant itself can produce and because of the positive effects marijuana has on the soil it is grown in. Not to mention it is a weed and can be grown in pretty much any climate and has little natural pests.

5 - Food, The hemp seed as well as oil from the seed can be eaten and proves to be a very heathly natural oil. Hemp seeds can also be refined and made into an endless list of food. The flowers of the cannabis plant may also be cooked to release chemicals that have been shown to reduce nausa, help maintain hunger and increase blood flow.

These are just a few things marijuana could do if it were legal. The 'war on drugs' has been increasing funds over 1200% in the past ten years with no significant signs in reducing the use of illegal drugs. Furthermore, the majoirty of money spent on the war on drugs is specificly for marijuana. It's time to end another meaningless war and allow for regulation of marijuana. Please take more time to educate yourself more about marijuana and the many various uses for the plant. We recomend using these sites...

thanks dude. if you could make a super-condensed version with plant and drug info. my congressman is like "well, i was a criminal court judge and it is a gateway drug no matter what scientists say. pfft, science, now there's a joke"

i added that last part... i'm sure he can be reasoned with.

Dear Congress,

Please let me smoke weed. It makes me happy and I'm not hurting anybody. Also, you guys blow. Stop sucking so much, you money-grubbing powermongers. Grow some balls and stand up for what's right, even if it's not popular and won't make you rich.
