The prosecution this week has elicited powerful, wrenching testimony from witnesses to the attacks, survivors, and family members of victims, and played tapes of 911 messages from victims in the World Trade Center. On Wednesday, the jury heard the cockpit voice recorder from United Flight 93 as terrorists seized control of the plane and slashed the pilots' throats.
Moussaoui was uncooperative with his defense lawyer, Gerald T. Zerkin, presenting Zerkin with hand-written questions he wanted him to ask. But he seemed happy to cooperate when cross-examined by the government.
''Are you crazy?" asked lead prosecutor Robert A. Spencer.
''I am not," Moussaoui said.
''Are you delusional?"
''I am not."
Spencer asked him whether a suicide attack was an act of madness.
''It is not crazy," he said.
Was he ashamed of his role in the Sept. 11 conspiracy? ''There is no remorse for justice. . . No regret. No remorse," Moussaoui said.

On the witness stand, days before jurors will be asked to decide whether he should be executed, Moussaoui was asked by prosecutor Rob Spencer what he thought of the September 11 attacks.
He replied quickly: "No regret, no remorse. I just wish it had happened on the 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th, we can go on and on."

If he gets the death penalty it shouldn't be in a "humanitarian" style execution. He loves the middle eastern philosophy so much I say we do it their way!

WHy are we wasting our time and money? He said he was guilty. Then we had a trial to determine of there was enough evidence to qualify for the death penalty. That trial determined that there was enough. Now, execute him already...in public, broadcast on Al Jazeera live.

Exactly! And tell them, "By the way, you can shove your oil up your asses, because we're not buying any from you - starting today".

when the blind lead the blind...
why is it so hard to see things from the other side? Do you feel like you are going to be wrong if you guys think about it from the other side? Cause you sound as ignorant as he does and it amazes me you lack to see that.

I feel the same..especially after listening to someone that was really in that area that day..I look at people I love now and hope they never have to see or live through a nightmare that never ends like 9-11..and to have to listen to people like him rejoice about it..he needs to go just like Timothy McVeigh.

They should put him in a remote controlled plane and crash it into an abandoned building.

Many people that worked, or lived, in buildings around the WTC, such as, but not limited to, the World Financial Center, had to be evacuated out the back way and got on ferries and boats to Staten Island. When the towers started to crumble, from the vantage point of the ferry, it looked like Manhattan Island was sinking. There were Air Force and police planes flying above, but the people on the boats were not sure if they were ours.
The effect on many of these people was immediate, and sometimes delayed, but all of the people that we knew that went through it were very badly affected.
One woman, a Financial expert who was in the area that day, and was a frequent guest on economic programs on radio and television, saw a man that was running get cut in half by falling debris. She was very traumatized by this and went out on disability
