I have serious doubts that fan will be worth the effort ... but, the power supply to the PS could be wired directly to the fan ... computer style fans will run from 3v-12v, usually, will not move enough air in most cases ... small 110volt fans can be had for $10 or less at wallyworld, or a 12volt heavy-duty oscillating fan can be found at autoparts stores for about $25, or even salvaged out of old semi-trucks and schoolbuses sometimes ... :smokin:

thanks, someone said that i could hook it up to a 12 volt battery it would work but im not sure
Right, i have done this, and its next to me now.
Do not run it off the mains, and i mean that!
Gets a 9 volt batter, and wire it up, 6 volt will also work.
It's PERFECT for small seedlings, but wont last the WHOLE grow.
IT's a good idea, so i rekon you should go for it, but it has to be taken outta the PS2, and wired up with batterys.

you could buy a adjustable volt cord at wally for 7 or 8 bucks the kind that runs disk mans ect... the volts are adjustable at a little switch on the plug from 3.5 to 14 volts good luck

I asked more or less this exact question a few weeks ago. Buy a multi volt adapter. Cut a section in the wire, you don't have to snip of the end, strip the plastic off so you have 2 wires, one will be black one will be black with white stripes. Get the fan, strip the red and black wire. Then wrap the red wire around the white stripe black adpater wire. And wrap the black fan wire around the black adpater wire. Insulate with tape. You can have a whole series of fans on one adapter. Good luck.
