:stoned:  My brother in law grows outdoors and he told me to pinch the leaves off the top in order for them to grow bushier. Now, is this a good idea? I haven't heard anyone mention this. I am growing in a closet, so there is the matter of space. (It's approx 3'X3'X5' in there) How many plants would fit in there ideally? I've been told 3 or 4. This is my first time and they are coming along beautifully... Thanks:dance:

On the pinching idea... it is absolutely a GREAT Idea every plant i have done myself I have "topped" or pinched... what it does..is when you pinch the leaves from the center of a shoot 2 more will come in its place... just dont go to town topping 3432432543 spots in one day.. give each new growth time to heal
Just my .02 :stoned:
Just do a search for "topping" or Pruning

Hi POO...
Why do you want your plant to be more bushy?
I ask this cause it may not be the best thing for your situation..
Lighting, Number of plants and space play a role...
: )
With your free hand you should definitely pinch somebodies ASS!!
And Actually, if you are going to pinch.. you should consider just taking it as a cutting and make a grandios clone of HER!!

i agree with garden knowm if your space is limited and you pinch a bunch and get a bushy plant your light will not penitrate to the bottom of the plant and could reduce your yeild
good luck
Yeah, if you want to grow as many plants as you can, you definatly do not want a bushy plant. Just grow them as normal, with one growing tip, and see how it works. Maybe try topping next time.
