Anybody dig? It's called At War With The Mystics, and it's probably my favorite of all their albums so far. Of course, Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots is a classic that will never die :dance:

Seriously guys, check it out if you're a Flaming Lips fan. The music is all over the place, you can hear new stuff, old stuff, Pink Floyd influences, etc. It's great for smoking a jay with headphones on, in a parking lot under the stars at night :rasta:

I had this weird experience looking up at the moon where a certain point in the song he starts singing about exactly what I was thinking in that moment:

the new flaming lips cd is great...much better than i expected. i really loved yoshimi...whats your favorite flaming lips song? for me, a tie between in the morning of the magicians and ego tripping at the gates of hell.

i thought the concept of zaireeka was really cool. 4 cds that you play at the same time. literally a party album. still need to check out their new cd tho, little behind with the new music lately. thx for the recommendation

what's zaireeka sound like? I really need to get that one still. To be honest I don't know their older stuff as well, though I'd like to hear the mushroom tapes.
