Anyone tryna get back into skating?

Yeah I'm starting to get back into it again. Been on/off, mostly off for the past 2 years, but I busted the board out, dusted it off, and have already begun the re-learning process. My ollie is pretty solid still and I still got a couple flip tricks. Whats fucked up is I can nollie heel but I can barely nollie.

I've got this nice ass handrail thats just been chillin in my basement for the past 2 1/2 years. Gonna be a while before I bust that out though. Anyway Ima try to stick with it and see how I progress.

I never really got the hang of skating and gave it up after a few weeks, it must be fun once you learn how to do it.

I used to be in into skating and BMX but once my bike got stolen (I had stripped everything and rebuilt it myself) I gave up on that and I had broke my nose skating and haven't really been to interested in it since.

Yea bro, ive been skatin again after a long break. Mostly these days im just down for cruisin and flowing. No more huge stair sets with lots of pain. Just chillin for now, but the thing is, its just as good!

I try to get back into it everyonce in awhile, but no one ever wants to skate so it always ends in failure. I ask people to skate on the weekends all the time, but everyones always got their excuses.

yep im geting back into it, just got a new board and im working on perfecting the basics and a couple flip tricks, i ollied 3 decks off a small bank last weekend but then i came up to a 2 set for kickflip and missed my ollie and went face first into the pavement, i fucked up my arm and knee but i imagine ill be skating this weekend

I used to go skating everywhere, but once i stacked it and cut my leg open so bad i couldnt walk for god knows how long and had to have 30 something stiches up it... I never got back on one...

AND after i fell off, some old woman came up to me, and fucking had a go at me for getting my blood all over the path... She wanted me to fucking clean it up... And i was sitting there bleeding to death.

yeah i can usually save myself by rolling or just keeping my balance but the run up was like cobble stone or whatever its called, like not a flat paved surface but interlocking flat bricks, that make a clicking noise when you roll on it, so i lost a lot of my speed. I hate it most when you fall and a bunch of people see you, and ankle injuries are inevitable and very painful.

I have been skating for like....30 years... I started working in a skate shop in 85... I have a skateboard collection you guys would die to see.

My wife works at a skate shop a huge one. They have 278 diff skate shoes on thier shoe wall. she is a manager Buyer, big wig. She loves it. ( i could get you guys a job if you lived here slanging skate decks) I work in the snowsports indusrty. I sell to her stores its cool.

I was really into filming other people skate for awhile, but that was some 3-4 years ago. For some reason that industry really interested me, and all the skate videos I saw were so raw it amazed me some of the stuff those guys do. I have sort of been paying attention to the scene now, and I gotta give it up to Paul Rodrigez and Eric Koston. Two of my faves, and they both shred nollie or reg.

ah man... skatin.. i started like maybe 8 years ago, theres a skatepark 5 minutes from my house. and EVERYONE is ALWAyS there, its so great., and whats better, is theres a disc golf course that runs right through the skatepark

i havent skated in a year, but all i love to do is skate and go disc golfing.

but the best thing is... i go to the skatepark every day, and i see how it really pays off, its incredible.. just tryin new tricks randomly with cool ass people.

theres always people drinkin beers, hittin bowls.... or just ridin sober.. so great

at the skatepark its all about tricks and goin big and stuff, but i usually skate around the college campus. its so amazing when baked... but id like a longboard because of the sidewalk cracks...
