hey guys , well. i need some help on what i can do to slim down a bit.

i cant go to the gym because i cant afford it right now and im wondering good ways to lose some pounds , ive lost a bit already n its gone to my ass so if anyones got any suggestions on how to slim down my ass without goin to the gym thatd be cool.

You could try the Christian Bale method. Stop eating. Not altogether, but damn near. Then, when you're all skinny, build up the right way.

Oh, and for Christian's example, watch American Psycho, then The Machinist, then Batman: Begins. Granted, he was ripped before he stopped eating, but I'm sure it'll end up the same. Or, you'll die.

Hey, I'm in the same boat - I dont need to lose a lot of weight cos I'm only 126lb but I want to change the shape of my body and cut down all the shite I eat.

I started this new thing last week and its working really well. I figured if I cant control WHAT I eat I'll control HOW MUCH of it I eat.

It takes your brain 20 minutes to register food. We do not give our bodies enough time to register what we are eating therefore we can quite easily sit and finish a massive portion of something without batting an eyelid.

From now on - everything you would have eaten before- eat half of it. its been proven that our portion sizes are double what they used to be back in the old days where there were less cases of obesity - everything comes in large and supersize now.

I've started using very small dinner plates because if you use normal sized plates you feel obliged to fill them up and finish it. Eat and chew your food slowly. Put your cutlery down before mouthfuls and you will feel full up a lot quicker than normal. Wait 20 minutes and I can guarantee you you wont feel the need to eat any more. It really has worked for me because Im really greedy when it comes to food and I tend to binge eat, especially after smoking weed. I find it hard to cut out sweets and chocolate, so now I'll just eat smaller portions that before.

I joined a gym 2 days ago (going for the 1st time tonight) but if you cant afford it, start off walking briskly for at least 30 minutes. Do this for a while, build up your stamina then start jogging at least 3 times a week. Even alternate between walking briskly and jogging - jog for 15, walk for 5, jog for 20, walk for 5.

Hope this helps. Calculate your BMI online to see if you are the normal weight for your height. My BMI is 122 so according to the site I can afford to put on at least another stone (14lb) before I am classed as overweight.

The quickest way Ive lost weight is through E, but you dont wanna go down that route cos it fucks your head up. Gotta be healthy eating and exercise

I walked it off........

Walked to work, walked home walked for at least 10 mile on a sunday.

it works.......then after i smilled down as was fitter i started running

I got fit enough to do a half Marathon..and i was 20 stone at one point...so it works

its all about portions, knowing what you are eating(caloric intake, fat) and exercise. i recommend walking or running 5 days a week. start off easy but push yourself to do more every workout. pushups, sittups, sidebends, squats. plenty of exercises for you to do.

write down a plan for each week and stick to it or surpass it everyday. when you start to see improvement you will be that much more motivated to keep it up and see yourself through.

Just a theory I've had on the issue, but what if a person were to live on nothing but fruits and vegetables? Plus a few nuts for protein each day I suppose, I do that myself anyways.

smoke on your lunch break instead of eating you burn most of your calouries at work so if your not taking in any....well it works out thats what i did for 4 months and lost it all...im left with the empty bag now thou lol so i gotta put the muscle up abit see my exercise thread:D
