people continue to post the same thread over, and over again. some good topics have been beaten to death so many times that new readers are missing out on some good information because veteran posters are tired of answering the same thing all the time (i'd have to assume).
so why not make a forum (not sure what you'd call it) that holds all of the threads that get posted over and over again (but the ones that were answered to, hehe). also you could have a legends forum that holds all the "classic" threads, you know...like threads that are especially informative, funny, strange, or whatever the admins decide is worth puting somewhere so it can be enjoyed by new posters/readers.
You mean have a FAQ forum. Frequently asked questions. Thats would work.

i just try to re-direct people to a site like www.overgrow.com
or www.sweetleaf.com for more general answers or queestions like 'How do i start grwing pot' and encourage people to read. you gotta read man. its the only way. apart from actually just stickin the seed in the soil and hopin.........

How about having a box at the bottom of every thread for people to tick when they find a perticular thread informative, and then when the box gets ticked a number of times then it gets moved to a FAQ forum.

the problem is, there are Cultivation Forums, Recreational Forums, etc etc.. its hard, for beginners, to know which questions have been asked a million times before without looking at previous posts, but this seems to be too much hassle because they dont.. so i think youve got a good idea, except, that peole dont seem to realise there are other forums apart from The Lounge, so it'll be the same.. some people will still post the same questions over and over until someone lets them to post in the FAQ forums...

Yeah but if there was a FAQ forum then I'm sure that people would direct the newbies to the the right place rather than have to keep posting links to other sites.

Maybe if the search feature was a little more prominent people would use it.

I highly doubt it. That takes effort, lol. People are just going to post whatever whenever until we set up something that can shock them from their keyboard.

ghost an gs are rite, even if a feature like that wuz added, newcomerz wood not kno bout it. they will continue ta come on, an post their questionz. im sure u woodnt go thru evry thread an make sure yer question hadnt already been asked. if u find the topicz 2 b borin er repetative, make yer own thread bout sumthin interestin instead ov complainin(dunt mean ta sound rude).
