The site is full of lies about marijuana. The following is something I lifted from an article I found on the D.A.R.E. website:

A question that was not asked by this radio talk show host but usually makes its way into the agenda is one that brings in the question of tobacco vs. marijuana, i.e., ??Tobacco kills hundreds of thousands of individuals every year but nobody??s ever died of smoking pot. But pot is illegal. Doesn??t this seem a bit hypocritical??

Answer: Marijuana is a leading cause of drug-related emergency room episodes and emergency psychiatric episodes. Smoking a few cigarettes, or even a package of cigarettes, has never necessitated emergency room medical or psychiatric attention. Long-term tobacco use leads to the deterioration of the lungs, heart, circulation, etc. There are no recorded deaths from smoking tobacco short term. It is known that marijuana undermines the immune system so it is likely that in another 20 years, if use continues to escalate, the death toll from side effects of long-term marijuana use will equal those of longer-term tobacco use. Additionally, because marijuana is hallucinogenic, smokers often indulge in risky or irresponsible behavior that results in tragic or lethal consequences.

Personally, I don't care how many synthetic versions of marijuana they make, I'd still take something natural over something not.

This is what kids are learning in school.

D.A.R.E is a bunch of bullshit. I remember asking the DARE officer a bunch of questions when he came to the highschool to lecture the class one day, i really grilled him hard i know i was pissing him off.

He told me a lot of stupid things that sounded good but it didn't make any sense and a lot of what he was saying was impossible.

The crazyest thing he said though, was after i asked him if getting marijuanna smoke in your eyes could me you go completely blind: his answer was yes.

Len Bias, died from heart complications, after overdosing w/cocaine on the night that he was drafted by the Boston Celtics in 1986.

Nobody is telling these kids the truth, so we as human beings can't lie to them anymore about this stuff. It also teaches them to stereotype and fear without good reason.

So you know what these folks are up to, here's what they do
Lets say that you go the the ER for a broken arm.
The ER asks, "do you do drugs, or smoke marijuana?"
You say, "yes, i do smoke weed"Because you feel like you can be honest with the ER, and you should be.
Now...here's where the drugwar tricksters operate......
At the end of the year the drug czar will check hospital records and use your words"I do smoke pot" as statistics. Your broken arm isnt the main issue with the drug czar. He is looking to see how many people came into the ER and said"i smoke pot" Your broken arm is now meaningless. But the number of people who were honest when they said i smoke pot is whats used to describe an ER visit. If 10,000 people said "i smoke pot" trhen the drug czar says "see, ten thousand ER visits because of pot use." They are a tricky bunch. The reasons for people being forced into treatment is because they are minors. They have no choice. So now we ahve another ten thousand young people in treatment due to marijuana, all because you were honest and said , I smoke pot.
Fuckers.

D.A.R.E. depends of funding from the government. Their jobs are at stake and they will say what they need to say in order to keep the funds flowing their war. Folks, your government is willing to cage you, harm you, lie to you, and possibly kill you , all in order to protect their wealthy friends riches and their lies. I suggest that everyone of you refuse to acknowledge your flag. Do not salute it, do not sing the Star Spangled Banner, which i call , Bummer.
And for gods sake do NOT join the military.

My doctor asked me if I did any "illicit" drugs, like marijuana or cocaine. It's scary when the medical community has also been brainwashed by government propaganda.

My answer was no ....

I thought pot helped to improve your immune system? And also helped to protrect cells from damage.

the government has every right to lie to u, they should just let you know when they are lying. but i guess it wouldn't work then...

it protects cells from becoming cancerous by letting them die when they are supposed to, and it cuts off nourishment to tumor cells therefor letting them die (with surgical help or somethin). it does boost your immune system, and it helps to protect brain cells. a study suggests that it even stimulates neurogenesis of the hippocampus.
