It has been 38 days (maybe a little more).
Take a look at these and let me know your professional opinions on how much
longer I have to go and how they are doing thus far.

i would say 2 to 3 weeks but you can never really tell from just eyeballing pics. try to get yourself a loupe, magnifying glass, or microscope and check out the trichomes. 75-80% cloudy chop em down. What strain is it??? by the way hte are beautiful
much love.........nasty

Well most seeds take 8 weeks minimum, so after 8 weeks, look at the trichs through a loop and you should have a good idea.

The strain is Shiva. Supposed to be pretty good stuff.

Anybody else have any thoughts after looking at those pics?

I figured about another month, but how much yeild do you guys think I will get out of this girl? Taking into consideration I have about 30 days left of flowering...

being a Shiva, I would look for at least a couple more weeks, BUT, the way to tell, watch your trichomes under a pocket microscope (radio shack) ... look for the little "golf ball on a tee" crystals on the leaves and flowers ... they start out 'clear' ... when the majority of them turn 'cloudy', and a few will start to brown, its TIME ...

Shiva is a good strain, but no one can give an accurate idea of how much yeild.

There are too many factors, and too many things that could change in 30 days...

They look good! Don't rush it and you'll see the buds will get a lot bigger! I would say a minimum of a month more. I've read in "The Cannibis Grow Bible" that you can grow them too long and loose some of the potency. It also recommends waiting until about 70% of the trichs turn to an amber color. Good luck!;)

some of us prefer harvesting when the trichomes are 'cloudy' and only 20%-25% trichomes start turning amber or brown ... reason being, as the browning occurs, some potency is lost, and the 'high' will be more and more of a body high, due to THC oxydizing/converting to CBN (cannabinol), which has only 10% of the psychoactive ingredients of THC ... the reason I harvest a little bit earlier, I try to dry and cure properly, and the trichomes will continue to darken even after harvest ... hope that helps ( I get my technical info from Mel Rosenthal's books, I highly recommend everyone has one, and read, read, read ) ... :smokin:

It's gonna be about 3-4 weeks I'd say.
Shiva is a high yielder so I'd guess a pretty desent yield.

What you described up there is my personal preferance. I like the body stone, with a small amount of uplifting head high.

Thanks everyone,

I ran out and got that pocket microscope from RadioShack. I prefer a head high, not a body high... so I will keep my eyeballs on her alot and see what I can do. I am sure she has some time left to get dense and fatten up, at least I really hope so.

And thanks for the compliments on the plant, she has been a pain, but I have taken good care of her. When shes done I hope she treats me right!
She is thirsty & hungry. i am growing her hydroponically...

Goes through 1000 PPM of nutes and 5 gallons of water every other day
