I am new to this site and have grown plants (MJ) 20 years ago...Due to a health issue I want to grow my own and I am only interested in this for my personal use...I know everybody says that but I am to old to take a chance and get in trouble over this, that is why I want a plant to go to seed. So the following is what I want to do (this will be indoor grown):

1.Pick out 2 strains (with your help) one that is a high Sativa and one Indica that will be good for pain and a good one to enjoy then crash (bed or tv watch). Looking for recomondations...I am planning on ordering from seedboutique.

2. I want to know about dealing with the pollen indoors... lets say it works out perfectly and I end up with a male plant and a female. The female I want to clone and take one clone or the mother (dont know if it will matter, let me know if it does) and put it with the male so I can have my own seed stash and not have to worry about the USA DEA stopping the seed traffic here. I have 2 bedrooms so I can seperate my male and female from the ones I plan to havest for smoke. I am thinking that wont work because poolen becomes airbourne but I dont know how airbourne it is... if needed I could make other arangements if someone will help me with things they have done...

3. How do you know when to harvest the seeds? and what should I do with the remains....will it be worth smoking? or make hash with it???

BTW....I am not looking for bagains in seeds...I want the best strains and I like what I reaad about "Dutch Passions" seeds. let me know if I am going in the right direction...Also, I am not that concerned about yeild. I am concerned about size...dont want a 8 foot monster...lol.

There you have a pure sativa, and an almost pure indica.

I bet you would like Wonderberry and Mango they get like 3-4 foot,Good yeild,easy plants to care for and neither smells to bad when flowering...there all fruitie...lol There good for the brain dead, i wanna melt into the couch BUZZZ....peace

Kali MIst is a great body numbing sativa!
And Mango or an afghani of some sort for the indica.

When you let a strain go to seed the offspring will probably be different than the parents. So I'd say get a variety of seeds and let them breed as they want. If you switch to 12/12 light soon, like after a few days, the plants will have very little vegetative growth and so should be short short. I've been thinking that it would be a good idea to get one container that you can plant all your seeds in, and let them grow in there and go to seed, and just keep perpetuating as the seeds fall off, and you can thin out unwanted plants if they become too crowded.
