Tacos are the shit
and I am not talking about taco bell tacos. I personally cant stand taco bell. But I can grub on some Del Taco tacos. Taco Tuesdays are the best cause they are 3 tacos for $1. I also like the Deluxe Chili Cheese Fries w/ extra onions. And any of the quesidillas.
My favorite tacos are the ones you can only get in tijuana. I go to this one place called taco bell (ironic, huh)just about a half mile walk from the border and their tacos are 2 for $1 and are 2 small corn tortillas some carne asada and salsa and guacomole. I love getting trashed down there and then tearing up about 6 of those tacos, a bunch of radishes and a couple of tecates.

We also make lots of tacos here at the house. I will make some salsa and we will cook up either chicken or some type of beef. Some flour or corn tortillas, sour cream onions, cilantro and some cheese. We call these our White man tacos and they are good as hell.
Tell us about your favorite tacos
and how it ranks on your food chain:D

We've got a place here called "El Super Taco" which makes these rolled tacos...which are basically like fat taquitos in flour tortillias stuffed with shredded (rather than ground) meat and served with shredded cheese on them and sour cream on the side, I haven't eaten there in long while, but thinking about tacos and all now, they sound so good....

Tacos are everywhere

I used to get these tacos when I was in Okinawa
Me and my friend would go to this small restuarant
in Kin ville aka (sin ville) and this old japanese lady
would make awesome tacos
The tortillas were cooked in oil
and it had some of the normal fresh ingredients
and it was total grub
mostly after drinking a bunch of mojo

The best tacos are the authentic ones you get at the little Mexican Taquerias. Just some carne asada or al pastor(pork), a little onion and a little cilantro on a soft(gotta be soft) corn tortilla. Top it off with some hot sauce and a squeeze of lime. So fucking good

Yea.. all of this talk of cheap mexican food finally got to me. I broke down and went and grabbed a chilie, beef and bean burrito. Doused it in habanerro sauce. It's soo hot my ears are ringing and i'm starting to sweat. Fucking delicious.

I am down, I am going to take my cousin who is in town from ohio
down to TJ in the middle of June on a Saturday night. He has never even been out of Ohio so I want him to have some TJ fun. Anybody that has ever been there knows what I am talking about.

Is Tacos Gordo a type of taco or a taco place?
I will take your suggestion on the grub for sure.
He wants to see a donkey show
I told him it is old TJ folklore
Is it?

I can't eat tacos.
I'm allergic to corn.
I eat burritos and anything else in a flour tortilla.
I bring rice chips to Mexican restaurants and have them make me rice nachos.
If I could just get rice taco shells...:D

small and authentic is definately the way to go.

a couple corn tortillas with some chicken, salsa, cilantro and lime. Dash or two of hot sauce to taste. Bomb.

There's a great spot in my area called Maria's. You can go in and Maria will cook up your tacos. It's like one big friendly kitchen. Amazing salsa too...

Taco Hell makes my physically ILL.

But I love tacos!!

The best I've had are from a little Mexican health-food place in Greenfield MA. They are soft tacos stuffed with lettuce, chipotle sour cream, grilled purple onions, and Cajun blackened catfish. Un-be-fuckin-leiveable.

I make them at home with chipotle SC, roasted red pepper strips, cheddar, blackened tilapia, and black beans cooked with extra garlic, onions, and bacon drippings.

Taco bell is the worst swill imaginable.
I may puke just thinking about it.
A friend of mine lived next to a taco bell. The stench is still with me.
