Thats what Ive been looking for, a good description of Salvia and there it is, it challenges your concept of reality, you hit the nail on the head. And ya I know what you mean it is going to scare the shit out of you cuz theres no runner up for it, nothing to prepare your self. I think most people take it because it is weird, scary, and differant (like the reason ppl go on rollercoasters). Yeah, out of all the experiences I read about salvia I never really seen a good one...a few but there are more bad experiences than good ones (thats I've read and watched). Google video has a few salvia trips and man lol, those are enough to make me not wanna try it, they are all brain dead and have no idea whats going on, foaming at the mouth and just freakin out. Not as bad as I'm making it seem but it's pretty disturbing.

Salvia was great when I tried it. Made everything really funny, and put the biggest grin on my face. It was like I was in a game or something where I wasn't in control of my movements, like someone else was. As for trying acid before salvia or the other way around, just go into any sort of trip with an open and positive mind. You will rarely have a bad trip that way. Mentally shallow people need not trip, honestly. You have to be able to accept certain realities, and most people that do trip are incapable of doing so.

Salvia isn't like weed, most people try it a time or two and don't do it anymore, either because it's to intense or didn't work for them. I've had 3 grams 10x forever, the intensity doesn't bother me, but it's so short I can't really integrate the trip, gain anything from it beyond "salvia is some weird shit".

I've now tried salvia 3 times, the last being 20 minutes ago. I gotta say, I'm not doing it again. It worked for me just fine, I had a full trip and all, and it was just a stupid experience for me. It was never overwhelming for me, but basically I felt like there were these different paths reality was going on, in different directions. Each path of reality was somebody. Not a person, not any type of species, just an entity in itself. The whole time it felt like these different conscious paths of reality, each going there own way, were fighting each other to pull me the way they were going. So basically my mind was being pulled in many different directions. But it didn't make the music I was listening to sound any better, it hasn't improved meditation as I've heard, and it didn't actually make me change consciousness. I just felt like I was fully there, fully conscious and percieving what was going on with a fully together mind, but being mentally pulled all over the place. Overall the experience sucked all 3 times and I'm quite done with this waste of money drug. Shrooms made me understand so many things, have so many epiphanies, feel as though I was in perfect harmony with reality and so happy. Saliva just annoyed me.

and It was NOT your typical stoned experience. It's most like a short mushroom/morning glory trip except its 10 times more intense. It has to be heated to the proper temp to extract the psychoactive, but thats where most people screw up. They go and over pay for the shit on ebay and they smoke it like ganj and they get nothing from it. Luckily, I've had my share of trips so I knew going into it that I was gonna have a bit of an experience I just didn't know what.

But yeah, i think the only reason the gov. wants it classified is because its shows you a better way if used properly. Also there are so many scores of people making money off it on the net.

Bottomline, its not for the weak-minded individual. If youre prepared to have your brains stirred around a bit, then have a go at it.
