Ok look i cant get it now, but my time will come :( . There are a shit load of dealers at the high school i am going to and rumor is that LSD is popular.

Ok so just some precaustions for when i do do it (lol dodo it), i need some advice. I was brainwashed at READI (school rehab) that my life would never be the same, i would be psychotic, and I would have a bad trip immediately.

So unbrainwash me. Tell me when/how I should do it. The difference between Shrooms and LSD (feeling, intensity, funness). And, is it noticeable (my parents may be around me). What does it taste like? How much i should buy.

Just give me a bulk thing about tripping on acid :D :) :dance:

LSD is very similar to shrooms. Physically, it's just as safe, and just as hard to detect. The experience is similar; both are considered to be the same class of psychedelic trip. LSD tends to feel less 'guided' and more in control, which is why it had a history of use in psychotherapy. If you're comfortable with the basics of a psychedelic experience (weird thought patterns, odd body sensations, altered sense of reality, etc.), you should do fine. Low-mid doses of acid are probably a bit less intense than low-mid doses of shrooms; high doses are much more powerful.

LSD has no discernable taste. This is because there's only .0001 grams of acid on an average blotter tab (that's 100 micrograms). Usually, it comes in the form of a tiny square of 'blotter' paper, which you eat. Sometimes, it comes in pills, liquid (either in a vial or whatnot or dropped onto something, often a piece of candy) or even powder.

As far as psychosis et al, I've seen no evidence (and have no reason to believe) that acid is any worse than shrooms in this regard. If you have latent schizophrenia or something, psychedelics might trigger it. If you're "normal," you'll be fine.

If you've never shroomed before, do some reading on psychedelic drugs. They can be amazingly rewarding, but they are NOT just 'pot with visuals.' They cause people to question their assumptions, challenge their beliefs and reshape their understanding of the world. Use them wisely.

-- damn, how can you say lsd sucks ass when you have never done it before? lsd is insane. but yea um, i reccomend trying a hit for your first time, be around friends when you do it, and stay away from parents. you will be in no state of mind to talk to your parents. its like shrooms, but a lot more speedy, and really geometric, and your thoughts escalate really fast. and no it doesnt stay in your system forever, its metabolized in the liver and that means it gets flushed out.

Setting. VERY IMPORTANT. Be in a place where you will have no fears, and you can just chill. It's not too hard to tell if someones trippin acid, especially on their first time. Be with friends, trip with friends is even better! Other than that, smoke weed...have fun..if you start to get worried, you can generally steer yourself back into a great trip. Think happy thoughts!

The LSD HANDBOOK was first published in 1959. I'd never seen it before recently (online), and I've looked in libraries and bookstores for things like that long before the internet was invented. In the early 60's LSD was available by prescription from select psychiatrists, especially in California - and it was a fad in Hollywood. I believe that Gregory Peck, and many other celebrities, tried it. There were unscrupulous people selling it as "A trip to heaven" for hundreds of dollars. Today, Sandoz LSD would be worth that much, IF you could find it.

Had The LSD Handbookâ??s instructions been taken more seriously in the 60's, we'd probably still have access to better quality drugs. Albert Hofmann, LSD's inventor (who is still alive at 100 years old) preferred a more controlled usage of it - and was not happy with the casual, uncontrolled acid-taking of Timothy Leary and his associates.

LSD is my most favorite drug, ever. Wow. First of all, you must be absolutely sure you will not be around your parents or others with whom you will need to act sober. The reason is very simple: it is VERY difficult to act sober when you are tripping on acid the first time you take it. Because you have no idea what to expect when you are on it (man, are you in for a treat), how could you possibly expect to be able to maintain?

Second, as mentioned before, be in a comfortable setting with people you trust. Also, tripping with friends is soooooo much fun. Make sure you do it with or around people who have tripped before. That way, they can help guide you through the trip and make it more enjoyable for you, since they know what you are experiencing.

Third, clear your schedule for at least 12-14 hours, because you aren't going to get anything done during that time. And you sure as hell won't sleep. Therefore, if you have something to do the next day, drop the hit early in the day. If you don't have anything to do the enxt day, you can drop in the evening.

Fourth, a lot of people smoke weed or drink while tripping. Doing so takes away from the experience and it is an experience you will not want to diminish or miss because you are also doing other drugs.

Fifth, get some oranges or orange juice to eat/drink while you are tripping. The conventional wisdom is that ingesting vitamin C elevates the effect of LSD. Besides, you it's good for you and you need to start eating healthy anyway.

Finally, I would suggest only doing 1 or 1.5 hits, max your first time. Any more than that and... well... you'll know what I mean after your first trip.

SMOKE WEED WHILE TRIPPING. dont listen to krusty. it intensifies the trip and wont take away from the experience. the 2nd time i tripped, like 8=10 hrs after i took my tab, i smoked weed while i was pretty much sober, and it kicked back in.

Different strokes for different folks. I didn't care for smoking weed when tripping. I had plenty of fun on the straight acid trip.

acid is beautiful on its own, but i think smoking weed while tripping just makes too much sense. and not trying to start some gay internet war, but why would you do whippets on acid, but not smoke?

I usually smoke while tripping to try and calm my very jumpy nerves. It usually does the trick too, and I can calm down a little bit at least.

Fuck, on a good acid trip I can't even feel weed, I just smoke it out of habit. But when you're starting to come down it's great.

Because whippets only last for a few seconds and it is the only thing I can think of that can come close to acid in terms of intensity.

In any event, it's just my humble opinion that doing whippets while tripping is FUCKING AWESOME!

are they really that intense? i never plan on doing em, dont feel the need to get high from that, but i always assumed that it was an ok high, nothing really good.

I have sen alot of answrs on here but none really suggest what you will actually be experiencing. I have done LSD quite a bit in my day turned pretty much everyone of my friends on to it in highschool and always made surei was there for there first trip to guru them through, some people need that if they are normally paranoid or insecure some dont.About the psychotic part I have read that medically if you have taken more than 7 hits, doses of lsd they consider you clinically insane. I have done more than a hundred times in my day adn have had very good and bad trips on it. In a way it has the ability to make or break your reality, I wouldnt suggest it to a real weak minded individual for its power is unforgiving. In a sense it amplifies all your senses it seems a hundred fold...some how it affects the water that coats your eyes witch will cause things to look like they are moving, breathing, or melting... witch is totally awesome You could take a hit of good lsd and be perfectly happy in a closet...it makes your mind like a child again it suspends your disbelief in everything to where you will believe anything is possible, it can free your mind but it also can fuck your mind up, witch is why everyone refrences to being in a good atmosphere. It makes you curious about everything as if its your first time to ever really be alive. Minutes pass like hours and hours pass like days and every trip I have ever had feels like that trip was a lifetime worth of sensations and unbelievable freedom of imagination, howevere that same imagination can get the best of you. Look at it this way its like using the force, you remember when yoda was testing luke and said when you go in that cave you find only what you bring with you...or something to that affect, this holds true with lsd however make sure none of the people you are with are the kind that like to fuck with your head, I have been around friends like that and it can really mess you up if you dont know how to get a grip on your mental facilities. LSD is the magic door to the mind now if i could only figure how to open it without taking LSD things would be hellafied. I have read that every drug we take is ony a catalyst that triggers our mind and body to do what it already can by itself, we are just not elevated enough to know how so the drug is the spark for the flame and the rest is all you. The drug is the symbol in your mind that you take to say you are ready for this occasion. Perhaps one day we will better have contrl over more of our beings and can achieve all these highs naturally as it is meant to be. hahahahahaaa enjoy!!!
