Guys n gals. 3 weeks in to 12/12 now and in the main its going well. However there are 2 of my plants that seem to be turning very pale yellow all the way up, the leaves are drooping down at the end but curled upward around the edges? The buds still seem to be growing..albeit slower than the rest. These are the two plants at the right hand side of the grow box. The other 5 plants in there seem to be doing fine so I can't understand it? Any theories?
I am having a few problems with the hydro unit draining after the flood due to the sheer mass of roots in there....will it stress the plants too much to pry the roots away from the inlet and outlet areas, just I would need to be fairly brutal on them due to the thickness and mass size of the roots around there???
How do u think these are coming on?
pic1: Group Shot (7 females)
pic2: Maple Leaf Indica - main stem
pic3: White Widow - main stem
pic4: one of the yellow plants, the stem on the left being the main stem & the right bud is from a side shoot of that plant..buds still seem ok...for now!!
pic5: close up of a side shoot bud from the maple leaf.....getting very sticky :D

thanks

Its most likely normal for the plants to lose some leaves during flowering. However i dont know the strain so i cant say for sure if its normal..Most cannabis plants do lose a good amount of leaves towards the end of flowering..

You can move the roots away from the inlet and outlet and they should be fine. But ONLY if you do not touch them with your hands..Use something that is very sterilized..You can shock them so be VERY careful and do it slowly...The inlet and outlet on a dro system is the most important part, you should have put a little piece of screen over both holes..:D

Well unfortunetly I think I have found the problem with my plants. I woke up today to find all but the two on the left hand side looking very bad. Leaves badly turned up, looking white etc and some of the plants looking very shrivelled.
Like I said in my first post, i knew the inlet valve was a little blocked with root mass, so i decided I would have to clear some of this up. Having tried my best to be careful so as to not shock the plant, the valve wouldn't budge and afterlooking very closely it was a lot worse than i thought. This has made me realise why the other plants are not looking very healthy!! The inlet has been blocked up so badly with root mass, that the nutrient isn't reaching the plants furthest from the inlet, hence the ones on the left hand side of the grow room are the worst affected, only the white widow and one of the maple leaf indicas look really heathy, those being the ones i suspect of blocking the inlet. In the end ive had to be quite brutal and literally pull out the valve to clean it. How far this will affect my two healthy plants I don't know, but fingers crossed they wil pull through the stress.
Do you think they will be able to survive, or could this turn them hermie on me???
Attached are some pics of the starved plants on the right hand side of the grow room, the other pic is of the root mass which came out of the inletvalve itself......eeeeewwwww!!!

Bad sign my friend! pump out all ur nutrient and remix!!!! This happened to me and I almost lost my PLANT I showed on harvest day. I hurt my eye at work and couldn't see the formula mix directions. So I was going by memory. Leaves turnes yellow and started looking sick. I'm thinkin' maybe you might have added too much of something, since everything was going fine b4!

Just a suggestion, so take a look. I don't want u2 miss this harvest like I almost did. Your shit is gonna be big my friend!

I didn't finish reading b4 I posted that last one LOL!!! So dis regard! Take a look at ur mixture too my friend. Sometimes I make a mistake on the mixture (add too much or too little) and my plants go into shock.

P.S. Starting a new grow in my hydro room. All I had was 5 seeds of skunk #1 and 10 seeds Ultra Skunk (regular) so I'll have to pick out the boys. Well, is ur bloom stage back to normal? I'll post some of mine in a few days. Be REAL careful until harvest with ur garden dude, if u get too confindent, u could loose a great stash! I'm still smokin' my skunk, best weed I EVER had. No more buyin' stuff off the streets for me :)
