He had no personality, or at least not one great enough to capture a large audience. His rapping style didn't help, either, some of his rhymes were tight, others not so much at all. A sub-par rapper at best, but still, gotta show love for D-12.

I personally loved proof, he had the best rap voice. His lisp gave his rhymes the best sound, it was the bomb. when i found out he was killed i was like holyshit FUCK THAT.
