Lets say six freshly germinated planted seeds on a 6inch high, 2 ft long X1 ft wide tupperware bin with a holes drilled into the lid for nylon wicks shooting down into a nutrient reservoir. The medium is perlite and vermiculite and they are in small jiffy pots. Will the germinated seed be enough to pull water through the wick or will it have to be watered manually? How long before hydro ferts should be added to the reservoir? If it has to be watered manually should ferts be added to the water? A Hydrofarm veg and bloom were what were in mind. Any suggestions throw them my way. Would an airstone help this system? Thanks

First the plants donā??t pull the water from the wick they just use up what the wick delivers. When the wick dries out it refills its self by capillary action.
You don't use nutrients on seedlings. This plant is considered a seedling until you have your 4th set of true leafs formed.
You start them off with 1/2 strength nutrients for the first week of feeding.
