hey i have a really sweet cyllinder i wanna use to make a bong its like one of those prayer candles but its like 8 or 9 something inches high. its not gonna be huge or great quality but kinda cool its a candle for the band west indian girl with their logo and like a prayer on the back. i have all the wax out and i wanna drillit to make a bong.

1) is there some precaution i shoudl take in drilling glass ot make sure it doesnt crack all the way through or someting

2) what would be agood bowlpiece.

You should go to a hardware store and get a glass bit, dont use a normal drill bit. Second when your drilling make sure you put something around your face/nose area so you dont inhale the glass dust that comes when you drill. Third you CANNOT move the drill around it has to stay steady while drilling or you will crack your hole. Fourth you need to drill it in pulses so it does not get hot, do 20-30 second pulses.

Id go to a hardware store and find a metal tube first so you know how big a hole to drill, use the tub for your stem. As for a bowl piece I used a socket from a socket wrench and welded mine on there, works great. I used a gentlemen jacks bottle and its a sweet piece now. I dont know what you would want to use for a solid bowl piece but you can figure that out after your done.... Good luck!

or get a cheap blue torch lighter... Mine will melt a hole in glass very easy

I read that blue is the actually a hotter color than white.

seems like it would have a higher chance of cracking, wouldnt want to take the chance if hes got a good body for the bong

You know that most of the colors in torch lighters are just a little filament that changes the color of the flame...i have red/blue/green/ ones

Im not 100% positive but unless you have a different type of fluid wouldnt it all burn the same?!?!
