I use a 600w HPS in my closet, and its the same size as yours - only difference is, Ive lowered the light to about 3 feet off the ground. I have the window open all the time, and the temps are fine, being 25-27C in the day and dropping to about 20-22C at night.

basicly it would be

cupboard wiv solid walls allround except door(wood)
ballast probably mounted on wall wiv soemthing to make sure water get misted on it.

the lamp is not touching anything axcept the lines its hanging from.
i would be adding two small but powerfull desk fans just above the plants to provide air circulation and on medium fan directed actualy on the plants themselves.

fans will have to be seperate little battrey operated fans as ive runna outta plugs and dont wanan add another extension lead as it may blow.

yes or no? good or just a dumb idea?
