Yeah Yeah, Another Salvia Thread

Okay, so here's the deal. I've explained it a million times, I'm a very regular weed smoker, and have experienced weed-induced hullicinations several times from eating and smoking.

I'm intelligent and have a self-proclaimed strong willpower.

I've read Erowid and other sites through and through several times.

Point: I'm not some kid who's trying to get fucked up on whatever he can buy, I just want a new experience and I like what I've heard.

I'd love if friendowl or some other users could give me some insight.

I just bought a gram of 24 x salvia, it's in a little baggy with a black peice of paper attatched to it with a face on it and it says "Goddess Grade" ... the guy at the headshop said that it's 12 and 24 now instead of 10 and 20 because the 12 is like the old 20 and the 24 is something totally new, I don't know if that's true or not.

Now, I have an opportunity to do this with 3 friends and to have a sitter who's one of their mothers, but it's going to be a while before that happens.

If I were to do it on my own, what I'm wondering about is do you move around a lot? I'd have to do it in my room at night ... would I be able to take my toke, and get under my covers and dissapear for 20 minutes, or are people known for getting up and going places? I'm going to do it eventually, I'm just curious as to how easy a solo adventure would be. Talk me out of it, give me some advice, whatever :thumbsup:

I figure I'll get more response in Lounge, even though this kind of belongs in other psychotropics. Any advice would be appreciated. Also, would it be more tolerable or easy to just mix like half a pinch with a bowl of weed?

salvia induced for me a couchlock x1000 meaning i went to my room and literally fell on to my bed
solo adventure is fine... you are liable to trip but not to go anywhere...

The first time just try one hit, and see what happens. It is definitely a weird high. When I've done it in the past, I tended to just kinda sit and zone off. It gave me a weird visual like life was like an old black and white movie reel. It was rolling down screen by screen. It was crazy. But it only lasted like 10 minutes, and it was cool.
Like I said remain calm and reality will return eventually.

Hallucinagenics imo tend to be way over exagerated. I have tripped on a few different hallucinagens several times and have not reached the point where I can't handle it on my own. It takes significant amounts of a particular drug to freak most out.

I know a lot of people don't smoke it properly and that's why there is such a range of effects and experiences. Is a torch light completely necessary? I know I don't have one, and that they're actually kind of expensive, what about a barbecue lighter? Still butane, but the flame is bigger and it's easier to aim?

ok, I have a question. I heard that this shit gets stonger with age. Is this true? I have a few grams that I bought like 4 or 5 months ago. i'm tempted to take a hit, but it's a bag of 20x so I'm not sure.

That doesn't seem to make any sense to me. A chopped up plant growing to become more potent? I could be completely wrong though ... look for that freaky Sage Wisdom website, they have tons of FAQ about the plant.

What nuggetgirl said is true....if you relax when tripping most of the time things will go alot smoother....dont try and fight the trip either...once you take the hit there is no going back, so just ride it out....it's not real lol

Butane lighters are pretty imprtant if you want to feel the full effects, as salvia is most active at very high temperatures, so it would be good if you could get one.....you could use one of those little kitchen blowtorches if you have one....just get the salvia burning white hot the whole time you are smoking.

so yeah...I wouldn't do it on my own personally because I know what it can be like...and it can be very overwhelming (especially if this is your first time)....at the end of the day you never really know what is going to happen when you are tripping so I would personally get a sitter.

Edit- And I don't think the plant becomes more potent over time....it may do....but I doubt it.

Well I'm not sure about it getting any stronger, but it doesn't seem to get weeker. I just took a few hits out of a homade tinfoil crack pipe and I'm feeling pretty good. for some reason, this shit allways makes me shakey. I've got the crack head shake going on, but I'm not THAT fucked up. I feel good, but i'm shaking like I've got a problem.

if you can smoke it outside better
if your in your room trying to hide your already fucking up
salvia if done right will hit you so hard you wont even
recognize your room or remember you smoked.
just take a big bong rip and use a screen.hold it in for as long as you can
i would rather do it alone than with a sitter.
people are stupid and wont understand what your going thru

For people who have tried it, is it true that just smoking a small amount doesn't do anything? What if I only do a small dose by myself? Mild, unclear images, or what? Or can you even do a "small" amount of 24x?

i would honestly recommend you go balls out
and take a big hit.
you will feel somethinh no matter how big a hit.
i have smoke a tiny lil puff of 21x and wheni sat
down on the couch i seen this energy of colors
flowing thru me it was cool.the only time shit gets
crazy is when you take a big hit.

like pretend you are completely sober.
you havnt gotten high in days.
i have only one bowl of indo weed left
