You know what coping with this cruel world is called?
---Being a man
What the human race does as a whole cannot be stopped by one individual person. So why burden yourself with such horrid thoughts? You can have peace in your own world but the hard part is merging your own peaceful world with the real world so you can live in both. Its something that comes with experience and life will try to kick the shit out of you, you gotta roll with the punches my friend.
As for the Dec. 21,2012 prediction....Nobody exactly knows what is going to happen on that date but from what i have read SOMETHING of significance will take place on that day. Some say it will be catastrophic but who are they to know. I like the idea that it could be the day that time travel is possible, but i hardly would take it serious. Time will tell us friends, time will tell us!

I'm eighteen years old. I've come a long way, but am fully aware that I'm not a man-body, soul, and mind. Ha! It's as if you're inside my mind, man! These horrid thoughts are the core of my brain. I realize the only conflict I'm creating is internal, but it's as if my mind is in love with it! My mind fucks the hell out of these thoughts all the time! I've nothing to do, but succumb to the thoughts and remorse. It's maddening!
I appreciate your advice, friend.

Those types of thoughts will tear you apart, solely beacuse you are powerless to overcome them on your own. I would torture myself with these thoughts because i wanted to change them on my own so badly that i couldnt sleep at night. I would have and still would give my life to change these things, assuming our thoughts are similar.
So what can you do you ask? From just what you have said I assume you have a personality similar to mine. If you are open to new things I would suggest you take up the art of meditation. Some people will disagree that it is an art but I truely believe that it is an art. It is something that can be frustrating at first but with it comes patience and inner peace. What you desperately need is inner peace, in your case(and mine) i would more preferably call it inner healing. If you are interested i could point you in the direction of some material that could get you started and will teach you what meditation is all about.

Oh come on. The world's not going to end soon. Just smoke a bowl, turn on some good music and chill out.

Our thoughts are probably similar, but not the same. Yes, if you wouldn't mind, I'd love to pointed in the right direction. I'm a fan of self-help, but I need something spiritual, I think. I'm all ears, brother. Show me the way.

Ditto.
And too.. why worry about the inevitable? I mean, we're all gonna die sometime or the world will end, whichever comes first. Well, wait.. I guess if the world ends, we'll die. *shrug.. I'm high* Anyways, might as well just have the best time you can while you're here. I'm sure everyone has had those same thoughts you have had, and yeah.. they do suck. But really, you're just going to drive yourself insane if you keep thinking like that. So yeah, light one up and crank up the tunes. Cheers man... have a good one. :)

Meditation is the ongoing practice of focusing your mind/body/soul. If you arent a spiritual person i would suggest yoga. Same principals but it steers away from the spiritual aspects of meditation. For starters I would briefly go over the history and background of yoga. Start at this site http://www.abc-of-yoga.com/ Its a good start for reliable information, its not something you can use when you want and then drop it. Its something you have to take up as a habit and take the time to practice. It requires a deal of patience and most importantly a quiet place to practice. Like most things in life you get what you put into it. You really do benefit from it and you will be a better person for it. In the times we live in i believe it is important to meditate to get away from the ongoing chaos in the world today. If you have any questions dont be afraid to ask!
I'm reading up on the fundamentals of meditation, as we speak. I believe religion is helpful and accomodating, so I do not mind one bit. I believe it's all brought together to relieve man from their thoughts and to give them to "God".
It seems as though what I've been through has leaded up to this practice. I understand what it's saying, because I've experienced it. I'm ready for a radical change in my life, like it says I'll experience if understanding is present. I appreciate your help, and yes, if any questions whatsoever arise, I'll be sure to ask.
Thanks again. If you're interested to see what I'm reading:

That is fucking weird, i was just looking for that to send to you as it is the best material I have read. Good find!! If your looking for something spiritual then disregard that ABC yoga stuff, not gonna be your cup'a'joe.

You nailed it right on the head there buddy!! Im very glad you realize this early on as it will help you throughout the process.

That is merely Fate....which is bizzare in itself when you think about the complexity of Fate(If you choose to believe in fate).
Its my pleasure to have helped. Good luck!
Oh great, now theres a date the worlds going to end i feel shit.

The reason why that date is so significant is because the mayans predicited it(Mayans have the most accurate calender). What makes it ever MORE significant is that Terrence Mckenna's TimeWave Zero model showed that novelty came to a end, not only the same year but the same date.... :(
I have a question concerning your breathing during meditation. Do you concentrate on it? Every inhalation and exhalation should require your mind, but then that'd be defeating the meditation in itself, would it not?
I think I've got it. You're naturally breathing to begin with (DUH), so the point of it is to become conciously aware, but of no thought and no force. Tada!
You're going to have thoughts through the meditation process, right?

Do you think about your breathing regularly?? Like i said its something that takes practice and the breathing is a VERY important part. While learning the art you of course have to concentrate on it but after enough practice it will take less and less concentration and then finally become second nature to you. While learning it isnt self defeating as long as you are focused on the meditation. You will learn to achieve a balance. It seems confusing and while starting it can be frustrating but stay focused and you will be rewarded :)

Yes you will have thoughts right now in the process, so dont think your doing something wrong. Eventually you will be able to drown out these thoughts and focus that energy inward. This is the start of the healing process.

Ganj, with the counting, breath in for eight seconds, hold for eight, breath out for eight, hold for eight. Or six.
Is this a breathing relaxation technique?

You're going to have thoughts through the meditation process, right?
at first u will the more u do it the more u sit hour ages without a single thought, since i quit pot i meditate 4 for at least 2 hours a day - not all at once.
meditation is a great way to focus im also into self hypnosis - Very interesting.
Ive been listening to Alan Watts Audio Books recently too. a gr8 listen/read.

One technique is:
Breathe in for 6 Seconds - Hold For 2 - Out for 8 seconds
The more u do it the easier it is to do without trying

Judging eyes--confused, frustrated, hateful--is all you. You've burdened this world, becoming a thinker for everyone.
Some suggestions:
1st, love yourself...
2nd, learn to love others.
3rd, live like you were dying. (Because you are)
4th, live like the world actually needs you, and know that, even you, can make a difference in the lives of others...
5th, accept, and embrace the hardships, and allow them build character.
6th, accept the fact that you will die one day, and make peace with this fact.
7th, I have a good measure of inner peace from the other six suggestions I made, so maybe this is the point in life where I can actually benefit from the peace within, and continue to press onward.
We're all different, though, so find what workes for you personally...
Peace,
(Btw, what is the purpose of meditation? You guys keep going on about it, and I'm curious.)
