PRESS RELEASE - MAIA(Phoenix, AZ) ?? Mothers Against Illegal Aliens ?? (MAIA) adamantly supports the National Guard presence at the Capital on April 10, 2006.

CALL OUT THE NATIONAL GUARD - PHOENIX

MAIA has formally contacted Governor Janet Napolitano??s office and requested her to call for THE NATIONAL GUARD TO BE DEPLOYED TO PHOENIX, ARIZONA??S CAPITAL AND ALONG THE PROTEST ON APRIL 10,2006. Her spokesperson, Jeanne L??ecuyer stated that the governor??s position is THERE WILL BE NO GUARD!!!!!

Mothers, Grandmothers and families throughout Phoenix, Arizona are fearful that with the 100,000 illegal aliens supporters and illegal aliens who will march on Monday, April 10, 2006 in Phoenix, Arizona could become dangerous.

Due to the limitation of resources within the Phoenix Police
Department, protection to serve the neighborhoods and citizens throughout all of Central and surrounding central Phoenix is being depleted. Phoenix P.D. will be assisted by outlying police officers as well as the Sheriff??s office assisting. The measure of calling the National Guard is warranted due to the vast numbers of illegal persons and supporters of illegal aliens in Phoenix on said date, and the potential for violence due to the governor declared ??State of Emergency?. Due to any national or federal laws not being implemented, the potential for disaster seems warranted and eminent.

Mothers Against Illegal Aliens has been notified that some families will remove their children from school on that date due the lack of police presence in our communities/neighborhoods. The health, safety and
welfare of the legal citizens of phoenix is at peril.

The same mind set as New Orleans was....wait for the worst and then "try" to react after the fact.

Have a good one...as always!
